I have been coming here for haircuts the last 3 years. Called Tuesday to set an appointment for a haircut, left my number and name and they said someone would contact me to set something up. Never received anything back. Lost my business, as another customer stated, plenty of other salons in downtown Redlands.

I followed my hairdresser of almost 20 yrs to wherever she goes and this is the latest salon. The entry way is cute and dress is white and grey's. Approximately 3-4 chairs on each side for a smaller salon this is a little small as you can hear the next salon is the conversation, etc. I am not a fan of their wash bowl. The most uncomfortable I have every came across - hits you right at the neck with water all around your face. I am there for my hairdresser!

I recently started going to Lindsey Adame here at salon shags, and she does NOT and will NOT disappoint! She is patient and helpful when deciding on new hair color or cuts! She offers realistic advice when you want to try something radical (aka cutting bangs when you always need your hair out of your face). She takes her time to make your hair gorgeous and exactly the way YOU want it!
After my first visit with Lindsey, I knew instantly that we would have a very long future of salon visits together!

Lindsey is amazing!! I am very picky about who touches my hair and thanks to the reviews on Yelp I felt confident about letting Lindsey transform my look! I have been growing my hair out since 2012 and it almost was touching my butt. I was really wanting to chop it very short, but was scared I was going to look like I had a mom haircut. Luckily Lindsey knew exactly what I was looking for and more importantly NOT looking for. She gave me such a great haircut and I will not be going to anyone else ever again! I love my new short hair! Lindsey is the best! I've been going to her for a couple years now and I won't go to anyone else as long as she's around! She's always very accommodating with my schedule since we work the same hours during the week. This girl knows what she's doing, she gives me exactly what I want every time. She really knows her blondes!
And on top of Lindsey being awesome, I really like the environment of Salon Shags. Its always very clean and I love how it's styled.

This is my second review for Lindsey Adame because I am once again, thrilled with her work. I have been coming to her for a while and always walk out feeling like the best version of myself. A while back we had some scheduling conflicts and I saw another hairdresser in a bind, never again! This girl gets it. I came to her yesterday and am so happy with my hair! She has style and knows color. She gives me the perfect haircut every time. The salon itself is nice and I observe all the other girls doing good work too. Come here! And see Lindsey!

Caitlin is my personal hairdresser (and my 9 yr old son) and she is the best I have ever had. She listens and she has a unique style she incorporates of you are open to it. She is very accommodating and especially kind. The entire staff there is wonderful and make you feel at home the moment you walk in the door. Taryn also did a beautiful job on my hair when Caitlin was not available.

Following my hair stylist, Sabrina, here. I love this new location; it's simple and comfy with a chill ambiance. On top of that, it's a diamond salon that sells Unite products too.
Sabrina gives totally awesome haircuts! I like my hair short but I hate the bob look. She does a great job adding texture and small layers to ensure it doesn't look that way. :)

I've been coming here for years and I will Always stay loyal to The Hair Goddess Amoryn she is so gifted & talented and always knows exactly what I want and does everything to make sure I am satisfied as well as taking care my hair I'm always loving my color and the way my hair feels after she is done with it she is always so hospitable and makes sure everyone is comfortable she shines bright! Sabrina is amazing!!!! I've been going to her for more than a couple years now, after experiencing previous stylists who would go cut-crazy and bleach my hair. I know I am not the easiest client to deal with, but she is very patient and listens to what I want when it comes to my hair. I'm writing this review on behalf of my wife. She was looking for a new salon and this place was recommended to her by some friends. They mentioned to book with Amoryn.
Place: very easy to find. Very clean and nicely decorated. Great parking (which could be an issue in downtown redlands).
Service: overall very very good. Amoryn called back to schedule appointment in a very timely fashion. She even called me back the night before to remind me. I was offered water and coffee multiple times during my visit. everyone was so friendly.

I took my MIL to Salon Shags for her first haircut in many years, and was THRILLED with how it turned out. She's super picky, and was really nervous about getting a cut, but walked out smiling. Lindsay was her stylist, and she was so sweet and patient, and really took the time to listen and work with my MIL. I myself go to a different salon for my cuts, but next time, I'll be visiting Salon Shags.
