I love this place. Four of my grandbabies go here, 2 full time, 2 part time. The staff is caring, loving and respectful. I love the updates I get on the app. They always keep the kids busy and do creative activities with them.
Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs daycare.

I have a 7 month old son who has been taken care of almost daily at A Good Time Out on Calloway Rd since he was 12 days old and I'm so thankful to them for the care they have been offering him (and to other families). My husband and I were in a bind one day and were in need of childcare for our son. I had heard good things about A Good Time Out. I called and was greeted by McKenzie. I explained to her I needed care for about an hour and and a half later that afternoon. She walked me through the registration process online and answered all my questions. My son loved his experience and we were happy with the service. If you're ever in a bind, this is an easy, safe and welcoming place to take your child.

I've been taking my daughter to A Good Time Out for the past 4 years. She loves it there! The owners are wonderful and the Director's Amy and Kenzie are amazing with the kids AND parents. It's a well ran facility. Very clean and so much for the kids to have, including waterslides during the summer! My daughter's favorite.

My granddaughter attends daycare here at A Good Time Out, she was a bit hesitant at first. But now she loves it. She goes right it. Thank you to the staff here for taking such good care of her and helping her adjust. You ladies are awesome. Everyone I've met have been so sweet.

Today was the first time I took my kids to this daycare I have a 5 and 2 year old and they both absolutely loved it and said they can't wait to go back. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place for there kids to be watched and to have fun.

We love A Good Time Out! The staff is amazing, friendly and very caring. We are new to the Bakersfield area, and finding daycare was a struggle at first. My son has been going here since April, and I cannot say enough good things. I HIGHLY recommend AGTO, especially if you are new to Bakersfield. They give you the flexibility to get established and comfortable, and even enjoy a date night now and then!

My son loves it here! Pick up and drop off is easy and smooth. They are great about working around his allergies or any special instructions I give them, but more than anything, my kiddo is happy and eager to go.

Incompetent staff and care takers. The staff do not communicate well with one another. This place isn't good for full time or part time care. On many occasions I picked my infant child up with filthy face- snot and food all over her face and a soiled diaper. As "licensed" care givers you should know all that it takes to care for a child and make sure they leave in similar condition in which they came. This was my first time coming here i was asked to pick up a child 4 yr old i believe for someone around noon. It was easy to find in a business complex off of Calloway. I have been bringing my kids here for years. First my son from the time he was a toddler until he got too old to go. And he was devastated he couldn't go anymore. Where to start. It’s inevitable that Daycare will become part of a daily routine for a family of 2 working parents. My daughter has always been able to stay with family while I had to be at work, but due to circumstances changing we had to go the daycare route for child care. The staff here are warm and answered all of my questions and gave me a tour prior to me signing my daughter up.
They're open early enough so that I can drop off my daughter and make it to work on time. Give daily reports on how much she's eaten, slept, and dirty diapers which is puts me at ease.

My 1 yo baby went to the daycare for four hours today in the morning. This is her second time going there. When I took a bath for her in the evening which is 5 hours after my husband picked her up, i noticed a purple bruise/ bump close to her hairline in the forehead. My husband did not noticed it when he picked her up because she has bang which cover it up. The person at the daycare did not even mention anything about her fall. I don't know where to begin...was quoted one price then was quoted another then had 2 charges to my card which were no where near either of the quote I was given. The biggest issue I have with this place...they didn't check my ID when I picked up my daughter. First time being there so no one knew who I was and they just let my daughter go? This place is super convenient to anyone in the Northwest of Bakersfield. I use it for drop-in care and regular day care for one of my children who is still too young to attend a regular pre-school.
We really appreciate that they are willing to use cloth diapers on our daughter. Our daughter's derriere seems to appreciate it most days, too.

We always had positive experiences and with no family in town, we appreciated the service and would have paid much more than the going rate. The staff was always friendly and they remembered my daughter even though we only used them about once/month. I would highly recommend A Good Time Out.

I love this place and my kids love this place. I noticed the two, 1 star reviews and saw that they both had to do with money. Every business must make boundaries and rules to stay in business. It is a shame that those reviews were made as this place LOVES every child that comes through the door. I highly recommend this day care.
