Laura Kiorkis, Co-Owner and Creative Director, has been styling hair since 2001. She is a Redken Specialist, an Aquage Master Class Academy graduate and has successfuly completed creative cutting and coloring classes at the Mayfair Academy in London, England. Her exceptional ability to constantly reinvent the art of hairdressing makes her an incomprable asset to the world of cosmetology.
Laura's passion for hair is unmatched and it shows through her creative and highly skilled techniques. Very professional and inviting place. I went in for a cut and was seen by Lisa. After showing her a few quick pictures, she knew exactly what I needed and created a perfect rendition of what I was looking for. Will definitely be coming back. This is a great high quality salon for the Northwest Valley.

I wish I could put more stars! There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Gemini of Chicago Hair Salon is. The entire staff is welcoming and so nice. I have been seeing Kassidy for my hair color and cut and I could not be more happy with the outcome every time! She creates magic and I'm forever thankful that I get to be her client!

Moved from out of state and was looking for a salon that had good reviews. My first encounter was positive and I felt the stylist did a good job and took time to blow out my hair and style it. Never felt rushed.
I can't say the same for my second appointment. I felt I was being rushed through and after I got home, my daughter questioned why my hair looked more red than normal. On closer inspection I saw that there was a bright red streak in my hair that should not have been there. The stylist had commented that the front part of my hair had a different texture from the rest of my hair. I realize

We drove all the way from Tucson, AZ (300 miles roundtrip) to have ESTER do both of my daughters' hair.
ESTER is simply wonderful! She is upbeat, friendly, personable and professional. But most importantly, she is experienced and does the most amazing work. So worth the drive!
And, a special shout out to BRYCE who helped me on the phone and at the front desk. He is also super nice, cheerful, professional and helpful...he patiently and kindly, answered all of my questions.

I actually don't go here anymore. The last few times I was not happy with my results, and the price kept going up for the same service, which was confusing. Scheduler also messed up my appointment 2-3 times and I can barely get in when needed. I know the goal for a salon is to be busy but I prefer like more personal service. Maybe front desk has gotten better though.

I have been a client of Gemini for 14.5 years. I love it here and it's always like visiting friends. Lisa and Laura are great and try very hard to be up to date on the latest techniques and styles to provide the best for their clients. I came here for a haircut after reading the good reviews on Yelp and I am so glad that I did. Stephen was the one who cut my hair and he did such an amazing job! He was so professional and he went above and beyond to style my hair. He provided excellent and practical recommendations that suits me. I definitely recommend this place for any hair services and you wont be disappointed especially if you have Stephen working with you.

I just moved here from PA. We don't know anyone, no family here. I have a pixie cut was having the hardest time finding a salon and having anyone get back to me. Found this salon on Facebook. Sent them a message, Lisa the owner, got back to me the same day. Said she's great with pixie cuts and also recommended other stylists at her salon. So far I've seen her twice and I am very happy with my hair. So glad I found this salon. Highly recommend.

Had my 1st haircut here and with ROBERT today. He's one cool cat and delivers an awesome haircut. Super happy with Robert. It's hard as a guy finding a good haircut.and a stylist who can give you what works for your head and hair. Most places you go chop and shave you like the next guy - no personality, nothing unique. Not here! ROBERT (yes, I'm using caps) has a keen eye, talented technique and just a huge thumbs up!

First of all....BEWARE of the twins that own this place...they are "always right" because after all they have over 20 years working on hair...they are pompous, arragonent and all about the all mighty dollar, thats ALL they care about. Frankly, I don't care, how many years they have been doing hair, I am 60 and have NEVER EVER had issues like I have had with this salon, the ONLY reason I kept going back was because of Kassidys cuts. If I am NOT happy with my hair, dont tell me it will be great after I wash it...it should be great and the way I like it when I leave!

I give up. I've had multiple appts and never leave satisfied. The staff is very welcoming. The owners clearly aim for a consistent result; I've seen the training and I know the staff do a year internship. I have a very simple haircut. Call it a short bob I guess but I've gotten the cut done in other states and Europe without a problem. Not the case here. I ask them not to texturize the ends, don't shave my neck and the minimal product applied at the end. EVERY time they want to do all those things and if I'm not quick enough I just have to let it go since they've already

I've had two haircuts here as of now and I don't think I'll be coming back. I tried two different stylists and they were both friendly and tried to give me what I wanted, but they were inexperienced compared to the price of the haircut. Positive is that they have free bang trims, but I did have to come in and get my original bangs fixed right after the cut because they were uneven. The salon is kept pretty tidy and neat, but they do try to fit you into their schedules pretty tightly.
