Bon Terra Landscapes Inc. was started by Johnny Fort and Lisa Sechser. Johnny graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in Urban Design and from UC Berkeley with a Certificate in Landscape Architecture. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience and enjoys bringing garden concepts to reality.
Lisa graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a BS in Accounting and a BA in Business. Lisa's management experience comes from producing TV commericals prior to entering into the landscape profession. Many years in landscape design and construction combined with environmental restoration and planning has helped make Bon Terra Landscapes Inc. a successful landscape company in Marin County.

Johnny and his Bon Terra crew just finished redoing my front and back yards - a complete, dramatic transformation in just six days! Johnny had creative solutions for several areas of the yard and great plant selections/pairings that I wouldn't have thought of. He also really listened to what I liked/disliked and was great at collaborating with me to come up with the final plan that I absolutely love. The crew was a pleasure to work with and executed quickly with great attention to detail. The job was very reasonably priced and I couldn't be happier with the final result.

It is not often that you encounter a company that truly cares. Johnny came to our house, took a tour of the property, asked a lot of good questions to gather information about our taste in design and then went to work offering through what is clearly a deep experience in landscape design, many wonderful ideas on how to transform our yard into our ideal yard based on our taste. He nailed it! His crew was extremely professional which is no surprise given I had learned that he has had the same crew for many years.
