After over a decade of investing in homes and remodeling as a side business, Dave and Robin found Wichita Wood Floor Specialists to be the perfect opportunity to make home remodeling their main business and to explore and expand a business that fits their wheelhouse. They purchased Wichita Wood Floor Specialists in 2018 and have taken great pride in nurturing it and making it their own.
One of their first remodel projects after purchasing the business was to develop a beautiful and spacious showroom at their new business location at 2100 E Douglas. Expanding the showroom space allowed them to grow the services and products provided to include carpet, tile, and countertop installation in addition to the wood and luxury vinyl floor services.

We use quality craftsmanship in every install for a long lasting and beautiful wood floor. Wichita Wood Floor Specialists is a small business with a wealth of knowledge and attention to share. WWFS takes pride in educating the customer on the entire process from start to finish, including from preparation for the project to care and maintenance of the floor after the project is complete.
Wichita Wood Floor Specialists has a beautiful selection of tile from Emser Tile in the showroom as well as accounts with other local wholesalers. WWFS works closely with two local and insured tile installation companies to help with your project. If you already have your own installer, we will be happy to provide the tile for your project.
For floors that have scratches in the finish and minimal scratches in the color, WWFS has a sandless process to refinish your floors. We will start by removing contaminants, polishes, dirt, debris, and all residue with an intensive cleaning. Following that, we will address scratches in the existing stain with our stain markers and prep the floor for the finish coat.

Austin and Dairry did an amazing job refinishing our floor. They arrived on time, professional and made us all very comfortable. They spent time answering questions, took time to deal with my pet parade every day... and a neighboring visitor or two. I would recommend them any time to anyone! The poly coat was applied by Chad with precision and the same expertise Austin and Dairry showed with the stain. Every step of the process was well done and well explained

Love it! Love it! Love it! So here’s the deal... I met David and his wife Robin (Owners) before I left for two weeks to visit my family out east. My 101 year old quartersawn oak floors looked horrible. When I walked in the front door after being away...absolutely immaculate! They informed me that Earin and Paul were the main guys doing the work. So, I’d like to give a shout out to them for their attention to detail and blood, sweat and tears they put into my floors. I used WWFS to restore the second story bedroom straight grain fir wood floors in my 1910 Craftsman Bungalow. They arrived on schedule and had the work completed in less than a week. My floors were a mess with paint, stains, gouges, etc. They now look brand new and I couldn't be more pleased with the crew of Lance and Carlos - great ambassadors for the company. I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. I'm sure I'll be using them in the future on other projects! (and they didn't leave a mess)

We had Wichita Wood Floor Specialists patch, sand and refinish our 70 year old wood floors. Jesse came out to inspect our floors and was friendly and professional. He explained the process clearly and told us what to expect.
The crew made quick work of our floors and did an excellent job keeping the rest of our house dust free during the process. The floors look amazing while maintaining the charm of original hardwood.
