Veyo
In the last ten years, technology has radically transformed ground transportation for the better. Cloud technologies, Big Data, GPS-tracking and mobile apps have been connected to a virtual, scalable, and cost-effective fleet of drivers and their vehicles. This new model of transportation allows for tracking, insights, efficiencies, and increased levels of service like never before possible.

Each year, 3.6 million Americans miss or delay medical care due to transportation issues. Issues that stem from an overly complex and difficult-to-manage process that has not changed in decades.
Services
At Veyo, we help get people to and from their medical appointments. Be a safe driver. You should have a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years and DUIs in the last 7 years. I also give consent for Veyo or its representatives to contact me by phone, SMS, or email at the phone number or email address I provide for issues relating to my account status, including promotional offers.
Our network depends on quality, third-party transportation providers as well as fleets of Independent Driver-Providers. If you're a qualified commercial transportation provider and you're tired of the status quo, we'd love to have you on board. We've built our platform using the latest and greatest technology.
The traditional Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) model utilizes commercial fleets that are inflexible, expensive to maintain, and managed using traditional dispatch models. These fixed fleets have a difficult time scaling when demand is high, and leave providers with a surplus of vehicles on the road when demand is low.
Veyo was built, from the ground up, to be a healthcare ally by using data and technology to cut costs and improve outcomes. From basic requirements, such as providing encounter data and managing eligibility files, to delivering advanced dashboards and reporting-The Veyo Platform is at a state department or health plan's disposal to better manage their NEMT program.
Our powerful platform manages everything from: member eligibility, trips, providers (both commercial and IDP), schedules, provider credentialing, reporting, and provider payments. Our platform also allows us to greatly optimize trip distribution management of network providers, as well as monitor, control and coordinate service in real-time to ensure the highest possible quality.

The reason that I do HopSkipDrive and Kango much more than I do Veyo now is that I simply get paid much more by them for equivalent work and time consumption. In a nutshell, Veyo pays poorly. My (and others') time is quite limited. Doing Veyo clearly makes me lose money in this very sense. Anyway, you folks asked. And I appreciate your doing so. Listen closely:
Pay your drivers more. And more drivers will come forward and stay with Veyo. Pretty simple there.

The drivers don't show up when scheduled, cancel rides, aren't reliable at all. Don't let you know they're in the way or in your driveway. I'd give less than one star and suggest they are one of the worse run businesses I've ever had the misfortune to deal with!

1. Dec. 20, 2021. On my return trip. Unprofessional driver with an attitude from the start of phone-convo when he arrived. I requested that he drives around the bldg. since I was not at the front lobby. He instead cancelled the trip and left without notifying me. Driver's name is Amir. License Plate #8YCU565.
I called for new booking. I was told by operator he was calling the dispatcher and booked me up for an immediate pick up but it took almost 3 hrs of wait-time and 3 follow up calls before I got picked up for my return trip.
2. Dec. 23, 2021. Scheduled pick up time was 3:25 pm but got picked

My 95 year old wheelchair bound mother was transported for a brief medical procedure yesterday After the procedure when she called for her return trip she was told no one was available to bring her back
She was left stranded as they said they had no one available the rest of the late afternoon.
Fortunately family members were able to get to her but this was not only very scary for her but also unsafe as no one has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
This seems so very wrong. She should not have been picked up if they had no one to make a safe return. Don't use this company The worst

This medical company never showed up to pick my mom up from her medical appointment on a chilly night she sat outside and had to resort on family using their old van to pick her up out of her wheelchair and transport her this is shameful and that is why this company has a terrible review I am also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau today

When it works, it's great. Too often, it does not.
My immediate problem is a phone I forgot in the car last night after being rushed into and out of the car following a trip to the ophthalmologist where my eyes had been dilated and I was basically blind wearing shades and couldn't see my phone and rushed to grab bags out of trunk since driver didn't park rather stopped in the street blocking driveway. To his credit, his car was really clean.
Unpredictable pick up times and frequently late or never dispatched trips with customer service powerless or untrained to help most of the difficult situations

This place is just a complete disaster. First off I'm really not happy with them not sending a courteous text anymore and o tell me a driver is on their way so I am aware. Secondly when a driver does call when they arrive since I dont have their number and if we finish a call I have no way to call them back if there are problems. Case in point a few weeks ago I arrived at my doctors appointment today and realized as soon as I got out that I left my phone in the car. I had to call Veyo and had to go through the long 10 min process of almost like I was booking a ride just to get a human being

There are a lot of trips cancellations some of them are because the system send double drivers, a lot of trips because the members or the receptionist don't cancel their trips ahead they cancel at the time that is the pickup. We need more accurate system or employees because that's a lot of time that we lost and gas.

Easy job and enjoyable as you get to interact and help patients but the pay is not enough. They only pay you from where you pick up patient to where you drop off the patient but the miles you drive to pick up the patient don't count. For instance, you can drive 7-8miles to pick up patient and then 3 miles to drop off patient and you will be paid only 3-4 dollars for it when in reality you drove like 10 miles and all the time it took. It would take like 30 minutes to complete the trip so it was not really worthy

While the passengers for the most part are good and it's a far more secure experience than Lyft or Uber when it comes to the passangers, the pay is ridiculous!
Veyo's expatation that you should drive 30 miles to go get a passenger that is only going a few miles is absurd. Veyo needs to pay for both picking up and dropping off. It's not worth it for me to drive far and have a short trip which I'll only get $5.00 for.
They also need to bring that power zone back, $12.00 for 3 trips is not good at all.

Don't risk your serious appointments with this service. This is supposed to be a free medical service to patients in need. Patients are expected to be sick, weak, seniors, or passing through chronic diseases. They are not expected to tolerate answering 10s of questions through a recorded voice machine to be able to request a ride! And thereafter speaking to a human agent and repeating the same 10s of questions to confirm a ride. And then the conclusion is receiving a ride sooner than it should or later. The worst even is yet to come... When the driver decides not to wait for an old lady walking

Absolutely shameless. Left my partner stranded 3 hours and the guy who finally got him had to stop and take 15 minutes at QT while my partner watched him from the other side of the parking lot. This company is repulsive, now they are saying he doesn't qualify for rides even though we've used them a week and are sending drivers to our home at all hours of the day! When he finally spoke to "Linda" to try and get it worked out she kept talking over him and when he asked for a manager she hung up!!!! If you have a loved one do not use this company.

I know i said i would never take veyo again, but this was an emergency. I got out of a 24 hour observation from a psych clinic. I've been having a really hard time lately. My clinic made the appointment for them to pick me up from hospital to go home. One of my case managers was there at hospital to talk with me to see how i was. I told him that i would tell the driver that i have a FEAR of the freeway and going over the speed limit from drivers that hit me when i was driving. My case manager said he would tell them and the driver agreed to take streets and stay at speed limit. I told driver

I have revisited the idea of driving for Veyo multiple times. Never have finished the on-boarding process because the reviews seems to only be spiraling downward. I love the concept but cannot fathom fully on-boarding with Veyo.

The first time I used Veyo, the driver was on time and very polite. Everything went well. The second time was a different story. I had made the reservation for the cab through my insurance company one week ahead for a medical procedure. The driver never showed up! I waited 10 minutes past the scheduled time before calling the insurance company and telling them that the ride never came. The representative was kind and apologized for the inconvenience.

I will have to reschedule the procedure now, but I hope that the company gets its act together and makes sure that in the future the cabs show up

My wife was al Walgreens in Surprise AZ and noticed an elderly woman in a wheel chair just sitting. She asked if there was anything she could help with and the woman explained she had been waiting 2.5 hours for a ride. More calls to Veyo pleading for a ride that eventually took 4 hours to get a lift for the poor woman. Good customer service?? How do these people stay in business??

I am disabled, and Veyo medical transport is a supposed "benefit" of my CalOptima OneCare insurance.

I had an incident with a reckless and abusive Veyo driver named Emiliano in September. The driver was late as well. When he started yelling at me, I picked up my phone and told him that I was now recording. He continued to yell at me, told me to "be quiet," and more. I put the recording on YouTube as published but unlisted, and contacted my insurance company to file a grievance about the driver. I gave them a detailed account of the incident as well as a link to the video:

Yesterday my son had a urology appointment with the medical transportation being provide by Veyo. We received confirmation of the pickup time the previous Friday so we were not concerned about the transportation. In our conversation with Veyo, they told us transportation would arrive 15 minutes before to 15 minutes after the time.
When our son's pickup time past, we called Veyo. We were told 15 minutes more. We were told to call back in 10 to 15 minutes. These calls went on repeatedly and still no van. Finally, they Veyo admitted they were not coming.
This is a terrible way to treat some

This is how the Veyo driver parked at Trader Joe's. He was waiting in the car taking up a handicapped spot without a placard. Another handicapped guy could barely get around him to get to his car to the left. This company needs to teach their drivers how to park properly!
