We help homeowners from Santa Rosa to Sebastopol and Bodega, and from Healdsburg to Petaluma to create beautiful surroundings. We pride ourselves on being communicative, creative, reliable and friendly. Our clients rave about our polite, considerate and hardworking crew. We work with water, installing ponds, waterfalls, and unique custom fountains.
We work with rock, placing boulders and creating retaining walls, crushed rock or flagstone patios and paths. We work with wood, building arbors and raised beds. And we work with dirt, installing site appropriate, unusual trees, shrubs, grasses and perennials to complement your home and lifestyle. All our landscapes include efficient, fully automatic irrigation systems to maximize water efficiency and foster optimum plant growth.

A skillfully crafted infrastructure - drainage, irrigation, and soil preparation - is crucial to the success of your landscape vision. These invisible foundations account for about 70% of all the work that goes into a project. With more than 27 combined years in the field, there aren't too many problems we haven't studied, seen, and solved.
The process begins with a visit to your property to assess it's challenges and opportunities, to hear your ideas and to offer some of our own. If you already have a design, we will review it with you and offer our feedback. If you need a design, please contact us at anchordoguylandscaping@gmail.com.
Found objects, sculpture and art can add personality to a landscape. We encourage our clients to supply us with their treasures, or we can create custom fountains, murals etc. on commission. Proper placement of any art piece is critical since it will become the focal point of the garden. Any yard can become an inviting oasis with the addition of water.
Just want to tell you that our garden is spectacularly beautiful this year. Pinks of all shades cover the slope, the lilacs produced their perfumed flowers, the Cecil Brunners are blooming in great profusion and many others whose names I have not figured out yet surprised me with massive outpourings of color.
