North Country Animal Hospital has been taking care of Aroostook County pets since it was established. Since then there have been many changes, from new buildings and staff members to new owners and new practice philosophies. One thing that will not change is our dedication to improving our facilities and skills, thereby improving the quality of life for all our patients.

They serviced my two fur babies for several years Levi and Buddy. Now because I haven't been there for a couple years they've considered me that they're not taking on new patients for appointments. How could we be new patients we're already in the computer confirmed, because that day it was an in-person visit to make an appointment to get my dog's immunization rabies renewed. They are refusing us.

They are great with my cats! My cat just recently had a swollen paw because he had an abscess in it. They drained it and gave him antibiotics. He also got his secound rabies booster shot that the north country animal hospital is great on updating you of. They will send you a card telling you if they needs shots. They are great at getting emergency animals in and they are not overpriced. They always have someone on call too which is so awesome. So glad I have I have them as my cats medical physicians. Thank you so much guys. You are great!❤️

Telephone reception staff is rude and offensive. They would not accept me back as a returning client with an emergency. The over-used excuse is that they are too busy. They showed no compassion for my animal in dire need of medical care, not even an alternative reference. They simply hung up. It appears that this new generation mentality thinks with their thumbs instead of their brains. I don't care if you find this statement offensive. Because of it my beautiful companion passed on. If anyone has an issue with my attitude, I'd love to hear from you. I did not serve my country for this. Realize

I have had two experiences with this vet, neither one has been good. The first time we had to get our 3 cats in for their vaccinations, the miss on the phone was very rude. She said they weren’t taking new clients, which is fine but she didn’t offer any help as to who would be. She did manage to get us in for an appointment. On the day of the appointment they told us to wait in the vehicle in the parking lot due to COVID. Assuming they would call or motion for us to bring in the cats, we waited in the parking lot for an hour until my wife got frustrated enough to walk up and knock on the door
