Massage Therapy Center of Winnetka was founded in 1989 by our director, John G. Louis, LMT, a licensed massage therapist, inventor and athletic trainer.
Marissa's warm personality and attention to detail have fostered a smooth transition to our administrative team. Highly organized and energetic, Marissa offers exceptional support to our clients and staff. Although a native to the Northshore, her love for people and adventurous spirit have had her living in El Salvador and California in recent years.

The Massage Therapy Center of Winnetka is the best! Their massage therapists are highly trained and experienced when it comes to muscle repair and relaxation. They listen to the needs that I have and do an excellent job of focusing on those areas. They are very accommodating with scheduling and I love that they offer evening hours. Whether your visit is for stress relief or physical therapy, you are sure to leave the center feeling far better than when you arrived. I would highly recommend.

I’ve been to plenty of massage therapy businesses, this establishment is very understanding Ive explained to them what parts of my body felt pressure and stress and my therapist totally understood, tranquil experience and now I make it a weekly habit. my feet feel amazing for days after up till the next visit thank you very much.

I had my session with the owner John Louis, and the massage was excellent! Going into the massage my shoulders were so tight I had reduced neck mobility. After my session, I felt great and my shoulders completely loosened up over the next 24 hours. John has been in the massage and sports therapy world for years and I highly recommend him. The clinic is professional, very welcoming, and I love the atmosphere that they have cultivated in the office.

I had neck surgery in December of 2012, C5-C6 & C6-C7 fused with fake discs and titanium plates and screws. I LOVE Winnetka Massage Therapy because it provides me with the neck maintenance I so desperately need in order to live an active and neck healthy and pain free life. The staff is so skilled and really know how to take care of any specific issues I am encountering, but are also REALLY great if you just need to relax. I am a personal trainer and I continually experience muscle soreness. Although I live in Arlington Heights, I am willing to travel to Northfield or Wilmette to find a massage center with therapists who can satisfy my needs. I visited on 2 separate occasions and each time the therapist immediately was able to offer deep tissue massage and manipulation. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The center was clean and covid safe.

I have found relief here! Having lower back, piriformis and sciatic issues I need more than just a spa rub down (appreciate both Swedish and Deep Tissue styles). I went to a few places near me but didn't find the relief I have here. I didn't realize how much I was helped until I couldn't get a massage during Covid. Very happy with the Covid safety measures they have implemented.
