As the mother of two boys, I understand how important it is to create the images that your family will cherish for years to come. In fact, it was having a family of my own that motivated me to launch and grow my successful family portrait business. My name is April Ludwig, and I am more than a family portrait photographer.
Your littles change in the blink of an eye. Let me capture their wonderfully big personality, and preserve them as they are with beautiful photographs. Whether you are scheduling a session to commemorate a birthday/milestone, or just an annual photograph for your walls at home - I will work with you to create a session experience that represents your child(ren), and deliver images you will cherish for all of time.
You have a LOT of New Jersey family photographer's to choose from. So, I am honored to even be considered to photograph your family! Family sessions are typically done outdoors and on-location at a specific place special to you. If you want to go beyond the Somerset County - let's chat! Central New Jersey is full of amazing locations!
Studio sessions take place at my studio in Bound Brook NJ, in my clients homes, and on-location throughout central New Jersey - Somerset County & beyond. I bring the props, lighting, backdrops, and upon request the wardrobe. I find that clients are more comfortable in their own familiar settings, children especially.
Even though it feels like forever, pregnancy really does go by so fast. These moments of this wonderfully (brief) time that should be preserved though gorgeous images for the rest of time. Your session will be specifically tailored for you. Sessions are done outdoors, or studio or lifestyle session (studio or lifestyle sessions take place in the clients home).

The dedication and passion April puts into every session and every photo is amazing. Truly a professional and now that the studio is complete consultations and sessions can be performed in a professional and comfortable setting. I cannot wait to see this season's Holiday sessions.
