My Favorite Childhood Book: "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" I grew up in the Harry Potter era and remember the excitement of waiting at the local bookstore until midnight for the newest book release of the series.

Here at Oregon Coast Dental Care, we are proud to offer dental cleanings for our patients. Professional cleanings also give our dentists a chance to really look at your teeth. We will do a thorough examination to make sure that you don't have any other problems that need to be addressed. We are hoping to catch any little problems before they become bigger ones!
For this reason, the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Medical Association believe that topical fluoride is necessary for good oral health. Because of this, you may be wondering if you need fluoride treatments. Many times, water is enhanced with fluoride, so additional fluoride treatments are not necessary.

It is very important for a healthy mouth (and a beautiful smile) that you take good care of your teeth and mouth. Because we believe that a healthy mouth starts at home, we are dedicated to educating our patients on the correct way to take care of their teeth!
Oral cancer will typically show up as white or red patches or lesions inside of your mouth. You may even notice the lesions on your tongue or on the floor of your mouth. Many people experience a hard time swallowing, bleeding in the mouth, or even swelling in your face or neck. Since this specific cancer can look like a burn inside of your mouth, dentists will typically wait to see if it goes away.

I am very pleased with Oregon Coast Dental Care. The staff is helpful, positive and very efficient. They are on time, very informative and the schedulers are very helpful. Dr. Christensen takes time to explain things that he is watching, things that require attention and your options. Going to the dentist is not something that you dread. Great job!

Dr. Christensen and the entire staff are wonderful!!! From expertise to efficiency and patience--- this place demonstrates it all! Not only are they are timely (you are not sitting in the beautiful waiting room forever), but they do take their time explaining dental procedures! Definitely 5 star office!

Dr Michael Christensen and staff are both knowledgeable and helpful. I have been a patient since He opened his practice and have always had a positive experience. When I had a crown on my front tooth he worked long and hard with his lab to match the color exactly. I am quite happy with his excellent work. He is very gentle which is important to my sensitive teeth!

I cannot say enough good things about this dental office. The office staff was pleasant and accommodating. Rebecca was very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Christensen was patient and kind with my two girls ages 3 and 6. But the hygienist Jennifer is in a league of her own. She made the whole appointment fun and exciting for them, which helped them cooperate and set them at ease. It took awhile to get in for the first appointments but was well worth the wait! Highly recommend for kids.

While visiting Brookings I experienced some tooth discomfort. This dental office was recommended to me. Despite my limited time availability, they were able to provide me with an immediate appointment time. The entire staff was wonderful. Dr. Christensen is very kind and understanding. If I lived in this area, I would be going to this dental facility. I also think the cost for my care was very appropriate.
