Founded in Sidmouth in 1882, Skinner Construction is one of the largest builders in Devon with a directly employed staff of over 50. We asked Skinners to come and take a look at a leaky tap. We were told that it was a quick and easy job to fix. The part would be £8 - £10. Because of the design of the tap we decided to replace the part in the cold and hot tap.
After alot of badgering on our part the plumber finally turns up 4 weeks later and is here for a total of 10 minutes. 3 weeks later an invoice finally arrives after us having to request it. But the invoice is for £80. when we queried this with skinners the manager refused to speak to us on the phone and would only email us.
