First time I've ordered since you moved. I went on DoorDash for chicken parmigiana but it wasn't even on the menu so I had to call first. I usually love the food but tonight's chicken Parmesan plain and simple no salt in the pasta water so the rigatoni had no flavor and there wasn't enough sauce on the chicken so it dried up
and the cheese burnt. I don't mind paying $26 for an entrée to go but it better be good. I didn't even get bread or a little cheese for my pasta

I'm so sorry to say that I've been let down tremendously by Anthony's Pronto. I'm usually a big fan and have catered several functions of mine with their food. I guess it's been a while since we ordered from there because I was surprised to learn they had moved. We were starving by the time we picked up our food so we immediately tore into the corner slice I had ordered. The flavors were good but unless you were biting crust, it was mush. The Italian wedding soup was INEDIBLE! My husband loves salt and even he couldn't eat it. I enjoyed the Caesar salad and the roasted

What follows is pure fiction, not based on a single fact. Anthony's Pronto was an outgrowth of Anthony's Runway 84 and Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, both of which were old school Italian restaurants, whose food was way above average. I'm guessing that when Anthony sold Runway 84 and Coal Fired Pizza to a corporate chain, he signed a non compete agreement, wherein he agreed not to sell dishes from his previous menus without penalty. Being a restaurateur, cooking and running restaurants is in Anthony's blood. Before the noncompete expired, Anthony couldn't sit on the bench

Ordered delivery. Took an hour for delivery less than 2 miles away. We ordered late, NOT during dinner rush. Order was soup, salad, a slice of pizza so nothing needed to be 'made'. Doordash states they had to wait for Anthony's to prepare our order. Finally got delivery and there were NO utensils in our to go order bag. So after waiting an hour for food we now had to find some utensils in the hotel and not easy to do with a broken ankle. The 3 stars was for tasty wedding soup, but bad service from Anthony.

Had short notice from our family that they were coming to our house for dinner and I was going to cook but decided to call Anthony's Pronto Kitchen to see if they could cater the next day with less than 24 hour notice. I can't tell you what a wonderful experience it was. The food was delicious. My family just loved every bite. We had the original wings(delicious), Pronto Party which was great, the roasted vegetables perfect. Thank you, thank you....you are now our go to place for take out food.

So let's just start with the bad and get it over with, the front desk service is just not great. OK good that's over with let's move onto the excellent!
When you walk in if you have to wait, and in some ways you hope you have to for at least five minutes, you can enjoy a complementary glass of wine. That's a very nice touch for a place that has Pronto in their name. On to the food; it's fantastic. The chicken sandwich is two meals in the sandwich alone. It's packed with flavor and the chicken is juicy. The pizza is nothing like their coal fired brother. This pizza

Pretty pricey for average take out food. $48 for a pizza and a pasta dish to go? Pizza sauce was super salty! Also ordered vodka sauce and they left out ingredients. Called as asked to speak with the manager. Told he was not available but they would have him call me back. That was an hour ago, they are now closed. No call.

Disappointed with last nights meal. Cauliflower pasta is not the same--used to have buttery breadcrumbs but didn't have any of that-lacked that rich flavor. Meatballs tasted like they were cooking in a pot of burned sauce. Chicken Parmesan and chicken francaise were good and so was ceasar. Cookies were stale and they just ended up in trash with meatballs and cauliflower pasta
We will definitely rethink ordering from them in the future-what a shame because it used to be good and would always recommend

I've used Anthony's in the past to cater a party. (Their rigatoni is great for groups and a good value.) But until last night, that was my only experience with them. Most likely because we love to go to restaurants and rarely do takeout.
Well times have changed and now takeout is the only option. And Anthony's is a tasty option.
So let's get into it, shall we?
We walked in and the friendly girl behind the counter welcomed us. After looking at the menu, my husband decided on the chicken parm and I went with the ricotta ravioli marinara.
We waited 15-20 minutes for our order

Pepperoni Pizza delivery. Have been on a carb reduced diet and decided to splurge.
Always loved Anthony's Pizza....
This arrived COLD, super Salty, way too overdone on the bottom. Not the famous thin crust Anthony's was known for. Very disappointing and the delivery driver was quite rude, nearly threw the pie at my husband

My experience earned them five stars for the ordering and pickup experience, but two stars for the food. I used their website to easily place my order. The order was ready before the quoted time. I got to the location early and sampled the complimentary appetizers and wine. They had cheese, arugula, and bread with olive oil. Plus you may pour yourself some pinot noir.
They have comfortable seating while you wait. It is an open kitchen so you can see them package your items.
I had the pasta fagioli and a slice of pizza. The pasta fagioli was thick with no broth. It tasted fresh, but

Killer roast pork sandwich!
This place is perfect if you are looking for take-out as they don't have tables or service. It's the same group that's behind Anthony's Runway 84 and their coal fired pizza.
It's located in a Winn Dixie shopping center right off of Federal Hwy in Ft. Lauderdale. There's parking but it could be busy depending on the time of day.
I tried one of their signature sandwiches - roast pork, provolone cheese and broccoli rabe and long hots. It was a nice sized sandwich and also came with a side of chips or salad. My only suggestion is

This is a great addition to the area. South Florida has quite a few good Italian places, but this place is different. You place your order and pick it up to go. The food is amazing, but they have gone and above to make you have a great experience. As you wait for your order, you can help yourself to a glass of wine, coffee AND some antipasto platter!
I had the Chicken Francaise - it was absolutely delicious. Lightly battered, the wine/lemon sauce was perfect. Absolutely getting this again. During this visit, I also got to try to the Roasted Pork Sandwich. I am not a fan of sandwiches much, but

We tried this place for take out and delivery via grub hub and everything was well packed, the entrees were warm, and we weren't missing anything. We ordered meatballs, cauliflower rigatoni, vodka rigatoni, chicken milanese, burrata salad, arugula salad and cannolis. Dishes that stood out the most were the cauliflower rigatoni - perfectly done cauliflowers and super flavorful (great with the tomato sauce from the meatballs), and the cannolis. For 2 orders of cannolis for $12, I thought we would be getting 2 per order, but nope. I wish there were more because they were absolutely delicious

Ordered take out here last night and was great ! Conveniently by the house so we wanted to try ! I Will list what we ordered with notes :)
Starters:
Meatballs - decent tasting sauce and consistency for the beef meatball. Did not come with the ricotta which states on the menu which I was a little disappointed but will request for next time
Dinner
*Chicken francaise- the best I've ever had ! The taste was not too lemon but just right ! Comes with asparagus. Really enjoyed this and will most definitely be ordering again and highly recommend !
* chicken Parmesan - classic chicken parm. Great
