Born and raised in Ponca City, OK, Dr. Aaron attended the University of Oklahoma where he received a B.A. in Electrical Engineering and completed a graduate degree from the OU College of Dentistry. After graduation he joined the U.S. Air force and completed an Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency in Shreveport, LA.
If you experience dental anxiety, it is important to address your concerns with our staff. The more we understand your fear of the dentist, the better we can accommodate you during your appointment. Our sedation options will benefit you if you have dental anxiety, a strong gag reflex, or are undergoing a more invasive procedure.
The highest level of sedation available at SmileArts Dental. Medication is given intravenously to make the patient have zero to very little memory of the procedure that was performed. IV sedation at SmileArts is best for adults and children over the age of 14. Before an IV sedation appointment is made, our team will go through your medical history, current medications, and concerns to ensure IV sedation is a good choice for you.
Oral-conscious sedation involves taking a prescription anti-anxiety medication prior to your appointment. The medication will keep you awake and able to respond to instructions while still feeling incredibly relaxed and at ease. Stop avoiding the dentist because of fear or anxiety with oral-conscience sedation at SmileArts Dental.

I just want to give a shout out to Smile Arts Dental and their staff. They fit me in before the end of the year and went ahead and did 2 crowns that were needed on my teeth. I had no issues at all over the weekend and my bite is perfect. I do not even have to go back to get anything adjusted. They are amazing. Dr. Kristin Kratzer is such a nice lady and is very knowledgable about what she does. I would recommend this place to all my family & friends. Thank you for what you do, it is greatly appreciated!

The one star review was not left in error. I gave one star on behalf of my mother’s experience who does not use the internet. Carolyn Dawson is her name and I’m pretty sure you can check her chart and see the horrible experience she has had at Smile Arts Dental. After watching everything she went through I will NEVER recommend Smile Arts Dental to anyone!

A relative who doesn't speak English well came in and was confused by his treatment, came back with a translator to try to understand payments and scheduling because the dr recommended a cleaning and implant but they scheduled fillings, root canal, and crowns first instead, and there wasn't even a cleaning on his treatment plan. I guess the office manager couldn't handle the questions so had another lady come in and dismiss him from the office. Mind you this was barely a 15 minute conversation, just to understand and break a communication barrier that occurred. Definitely could have

Dr. Kratzer and her hygienists are excellent. These ladies are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I've had a lot of work done here and never a bad experience. My wisdom tooth extraction and root canal were painless. They really go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. I can't recommend Dr. Kratzer enough!

This is our family dental group, and they’re amazing!! They are great with the kids, have good technology, and are affordable. We love Dr K and Dr. Aaron!
My brother was in from out of town a few weeks ago, and I called their office on a Friday night and Dr. Aaron fixed his crown the next morning. They were so accommodating and kind!
Highly recommend them if you’re in NW Okc or Yukon!!

After 12 years of not going to the dentist, I couldn't put it off any longer and needed a root canal. The team at Smile Art was fantastic and took great care to make sure I was comfortable and at ease with that they were doing. The staff was very friendly and I appreciated their patience with me and my fears.

We've had great care in the past but my 18 y.o. soon had his wisdom teeth out and some fillings today. I picked up his prescriptions at the pharmacy and got home only to find that all he had for pain was ibuprofen 800 mg. I gave it to him hoping it would be enough and wondered why they didn't give anything stronger for pain but assumed (wrongly) that the opioid crisis had affected what they could prescribe. an hour and a half later he was sobbing in pain. when I called the office I was told he should have had hydrocodone and was told the pharmacy must have missed it. just a few minutes

Truly The Greatest Dental Experience I Have Ever Had! The Staff, friendly and personable. Dr Cohenour takes extreme pride in his Craft. All of the staff goes the extra mile to make sure the patient is comfortable. My Implant Treatments were virtually painless with a perfect end result. I Highly recommend Smile Art's!

I've been going to Smile Arts Dental for the past 4 years. I originally started going to them based on their proximity to my house and the fact that they offered extended hours (7am-7pm) once a week. I've stayed with them because of the wonderful service I've received!
I've had procedures with them and got the conscious sedation they offer which was way better than multiple shots to numb the area. I also got clear correct through them and was very pleased with the results.

I was trying to find a dentist closer to me. I went to this dentist for an annual check-up. They are very nice, and the dental hygienist tried not to hurt me. Overall the actual exam went pretty good. The dentist told me I needed 4 or 5 cavities filled. I went back to my old dentist for a second opinion. She told me she had marked two spots in my file last year, but they were not any worse. She did not recommend having any fillings at the time. I honestly don't think he was lying to me. He just has a different way of doing dentistry.
