Hello, my name is Blake Teschner. My background includes over twenty years in the world of construction from framing to siding, roofing to landscaping, cabinet making to interior finishing. I have always been involved in every process by love of the building trades from as young as I could swing a hammer.
The standard home inspection report will cover 5 BIG areas which are exterior, interior, plumbing, electrical, and Heating Ventilation and Cooling (HVAC).
The report will identify the operational condition of the following areas: heating system, central air system (temperature permitting), interior plumbing, electrical systems, roof, attic and visible insulation, walls, ceiling, floors, windows, doors, the foundation, basement, and structural components.

Blake was very responsive and able to get my home inspection scheduled and done very timely. He completed my home inspection and was very detailed in his report, even walked through the minor details. He took the time to explain what can be done to improve the home so we don't run into problems in the future. He was very professional and nice to work with. We even had the report the same day. This company was recommended by a local realtor, however, he would never be recommended by me. After we purchased the home, we found multiple issues with it, some understandable, some that should have never been missed, like the black mold. Upon listing the home after deciding not to keep it, the new owners hired Royal T home inspection and they were the company that found the mold. Royal T Home inspection was a much more professional service and would have hired them instead. The report we received was 28 pages from Big 5, and 48 pages from Royal T, and as you can imagine was much more thorough

I actually was outside of his service area but Blake took the time to contact me and explain why he wouldn't be able to do the inspection. He also answered all of my many questions about what I should look for in hiring a home inspector. He gave a couple of names of reputable inspectors and wished me well. A couple of days later he followed up with a phone call to ensure I found someone for the job. This was incredible customer service.
