Just visiting Tom’s River for a week and figured I’d get my hair done with some down time I had. Kim did an absolutely gorgeous job shaping my outgrown pixie. She is professional and efficient. I am so sad I won’t be around to maintain my hair with her! Next year when I come back, I’ll be back again for sure! Thank you so much for your attention to detail. I went in to see Christina and I was NOT disappointed. She was highly recommended. Had a bad hair cut from another place ... she took care of the repair and followup appoint to cut even shorter to help the repair. I first saw Rayna back in January and was completely in awe of how good she is at color. No one has ever done my highlights as perfect as Rayna. Loved my cut, blowout, and curls, too. My second appointment with her was on 4/17 and once again, she was amazing. My color is perfect, cut is just right, and my hair is the healthiest it’s ever been. Rayna really listens to what you want but also gives her expertise on what would work best. She’s truly the best.

I have been going to Alchemy Hair Studio for almost 3 years now and it is my hair place for life. Kim is fantastic! She goes beyond just knowing hair and that shows in her passion. The studio itself is bright, clean and welcoming(Also eco-friendly!). Everyone at Alchemy is so genuine and pleasant it really makes for a overall wonderful experience. I can't say enough or recommend them enough to anyone I talk to. I apologize, I should have wrote a review YEARS ago when I came here for the first time and knew I was never going to another place ever again.

My bright multicolored hair takes a long time to get perfect. Kim always knocks it out of the park and all of the stylists are engaging and friendly while I'm there. I would never go to anywhere else to get my hair done period. If you're looking for vivid colors this is definitely the place to go.

They fixed my major hair crisis! I performed a terrible at-home bleach job and my hair was extremely patchy and uneven. Some areas of my hair were still brown and orange. I booked an appointment online through their website which was really easy, convenient and gives you all the prices! This was my first time coming to this salon since I just moved to the area. After trying a few salons in the area I just wasn't getting what I wanted with my hair. Well my search is over because I finally LOVE my hair again. Alexis really takes the time to understand what you are looking for and makes sure you understand what realistic results you can expect. My hair cut was exactly what I wanted and the Baylange she did for me yesterday has me feeling like myself again. I look and feel great! Overpriced for sub par work. Management is rude and doesnt understand customer service. They make up their own prices and act like it's a chore for blowdrying hair after washing it and cutting it. They were going to let me walk out with wet hair. I've never been to a salon where my hair being blowdried wasn't included.Their scheduling was messed up and "fitted me in" and then say "well I tried calling you". They never did. The prices are as if it was a high class salon...far from it. Dont worry I wont be back!

Have been to Kimberly a few times and I couldn't be happier. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted and figured out a way to make it happen. My hair is several different colors and dying it to look natural is tough. Thanks to Kimberly, my hair looks great and I couldn't be happier.

I went first for a consultation the girl at the front desk was really nice and with a smile. Alexis was amazing she explained to me what I need for my hair and also explain why I couldn't be more blonde because at the last salon I went they fried my hair so I make and appointment with her and OMG my hair looks and feels amazing, she also help me with having some of the blonde that I had without dying it more dark. All the girls in her salon are really nice and always smiling and I really really recommend this salon

Most friendly and professional studio in the Toms River and surrounding area! I got a terrible cut nearby, and needed a fix quickly. They got me in same day, and gave me an awesome cut. While waiting, got to see the stylists interacting with clients, and noted that the entire studio is filled with lovely, friendly, and highly skilled staff. Costs won't break the bank, either!

We came here the same day as making an appointment on a Saturday, so it seems that they're pretty free. We arrived at our appointed time and waited for more than 5 minutes while stylists glanced at us and said nothing. I decided just to go up to someone and say that we had an appointment, and they didn't even realize that no one was up at the front desk. The haircut was fine, nothing stellar, but I hope that their service improves in the future if we decide to come again.

The staff is friendly but not everyone is great at doing hair. I guess when your stylist looks like they don't care tor their own hair you should know what you want won't come out right. Been twice hoping the 1st time was just an off day but both times I left feeling cheated. The prices are really great though. I recommend it if you are okay with gambling on a cut you may just walk away feeling eh about, but you might also be satisfied enough to deal with what you get

What a great salon!! Holly is one of the best hair stylists I've ever sat down with, she has brought my blonde hair back to life. All the ladies that work in this salon are top notch and nothing but professional! Five stars all the way around

I have used this salon, Alexis specifically, for about a year now. She has been incredible! And just last month, Alexis and Stephanie came to the location of my wedding and did my hair, along with 7 bridesmaids, a junior bridesmaid and my mom and aunt's hair. THEY WERE AMAZING! They were right on time and knew what time we had to be finished by, and were able to stay on schedule the entire morning. It was SO humid that day, and all of our hair stayed without a problem! I'm going to be honest, I only came here for that boss Groupon. That being said, I had such a great experience. My hair was crazy long. I have needed a hair cut for months. I knew it was probably going to be hassle, but my hair looks great. I got long layers, which are cut really evenly. I also went from a dark blonde to a strawberry blonde. I have never gotten more compliments on on my hair in my life. Jenna did such a great job. I have nowhere close to natural red hair, but some even said I look like a natural red head. Can I just tell you - I have been living in Toms River for 10 years now...and it took me that long to find a stylist who is worth my time and money. I went to Alchemy Hair Studio for the first time tonight and I am thrilled with the results Alexis gave me. Alexis actually listened to what was making me unhappy about my current cut/color and she made suggestions without trying to force what she wanted to see and I am thrilled with the outcome.
