We start at the roof and evaluate not only the roof surface, but also the chimney, the ventilation system, the electrical service entrance, the plumbing stack, and any other systems or components located on the roof. We then move inside the house, and starting at the bottom, work our way up through the home into the attic.

It may rarely be possible to find another home inspector as good as Rick but you will not find one better! My brother retired after 20+ years of home inspecting in another part of the state. Very thorough. Took time to explain every discrepancy and take us through the home and answer any questions we had. Very nice and professional. Made us feel comfortable in that every utility in the house and structures have been checked thoroughly. We have had inspectors come through at a property we rent that were nowhere near as thorough as him! Highly recommend.

I just bought a house and needed a home inspection for the hoops I had to jump through. I didn’t know anyone personally that does home inspection and looked on line at reviews for them in my area . Rick inspected a rental we were interested in which was out of state for us. Rick did a great job inspecting the home I was getting ready to buy. His written report provided a lot of details about the features of the home and clearly explained any concerns he had and issues that needed to be addressed. He included pictures of the key areas that helped me better understand what steps needed to be completed to correct any problems. Rick was fantastic. Best inspector I have dealt with! He was super professional and knowledgeable. He explained things down to my level and answered any questions I had.
