Services
Pinnacle Montessori Academy was founded in 2006 when Kaki Reddy and Alex Freeman decided to share their passion for Montessori learning by building their first school in Murphy, Texas. Krishna Bhaskar joined their journey a decade later and played a phenomenal role in growing the franchise footprint of Pinnacle.
Our Infant program is for children ages 6 weeks to 12 months. Our program focuses on specific aspects of learning such as non-verbal communication, gross motor skills, and socialization. Still new to the world, infants are surrounded by an array of sensations and impressions. Our staff is specially trained to help them make sense of these perceptions to learn about the world that surrounds them.
Our Toddler program is for children ages 12 months to 18 months as the children begin to become more mobile. The Toddler program helps to promote independence and cultivate each child's unique character. This is also the time when we begin to instill important traits such as sharing, empathy, and working together.
Children are human beings to whom respect is due, superior to us by reason of their innocence and of the greater possibilities of their future. Our Pre-primary program is for children ages 18 months to 3 years as the children begin to develop their learning patterns. The Pre-primary program allows children the opportunity to explore and develop their language skills by expanding their growing vocabulary and improving social interaction.
Our primary programs are composed of a balanced, multi-age grouping of 3 years to 6 years old children. This environment blends practical life and sensorial activities with social and academic skills. Children learn the satisfaction of performing activities from daily life known as Practical Life. These activities are essential to the development of order, coordination, concentration and independence, skills that last a lifetime.

The director at this location is very (2 faced). She 'forgot' one day that they have one way windows looking into the classes. She was very rude about my child crying, for about 90 seconds, because she didn't want her dad to leave her there. As soon as my husband walked out she began talking about my child and husband to the teacher. My husband would always stand at the window until the crying stopped, which was almost as soon as he walked out. So unprofessional. We have had multiple problems with her. How is she a director???
Also, my 3 yr old loved going for about a week

I would love to give this school more stars but I simply can't. The administration, Karen the Director to be exact, is the reason for 1 star.
I'll make a very long story short. My 4 yr old grandson is asthmatic. He is to receive daily treatments while at school. Unfortunately last week he was NOT given his treatment. Now I understand that things happen. But when something like this happens the very last thing you want to hear from administration are lies and excuses. Instead of Karen being accountable and offering an apology, she gave me 3 different reasons as to why no one gave him

I have a daughter in the pre-primary room with Ms. Kimberly. She has really excelled in this program and I think the educational curriculum is fantastic. I have been impressed with the things she is learning. For instance she knows all of her continents and can point them out on a map. She also told me the other day that I was reading her a "fiction book". Part of science is planting a garden. Ms. Kimberly seems to have ample patience with the children. Communication with the teachers typically occurs via email or during a bi-annual parent/teacher conference. It is frowned upon to speak

I have tried them all, country home, la petite, and lighthouse, by far this school sets the standard. There patience and perseverance has been the reason for the greatest changes in my home that includes two boys 3, and 4. If your looking for an honest review this is a great school where your kids are there biggest concern.

This school does not really follow verbatim Montessori structure .. Only one primary teacher ( ms . Kimberly ) is Montessori qualified and educated with all the credentials to show for . Now my son was with her as a priority when they newly opened this Montessori here last year 2014 AUG.. Please keep in mind that my son was already Montessori trained since he was 1 and had well graduated up to primary .. So as the months past he was doing alright not the best as before in another Montessori but because the owner crams so many kids in the most educated teachers class .. There are 23 kids in ms

My 2 boys attend this school and they are smart, funny and self confident kids. They had never come home with bite marks or nasty fights with other students. There is no turnover as far as teachers are concerned. They are learning to read, add, write plus their social skills are phenomenal! I do think that this school has a lot to do with it. It's very structured and the teachers are stern but the children love them. My wife and I and my kids included. I don't think I would have the same happy outgoing child willing to learn the way she does if I would've sent to to some "
