This year, having won 4 times, we are now "The Knot Hall of Fame Winners!", a lifetime award! Proof that good work is its own reward! Please Note: in 2018, WeddingWire stopped featuring Dance Instructors amongst their wedding vendors. Our reviews are available below in PDF Form, and will be ported soon to a more user friendly page.
Christine and I will teach and coach you remotely from our studio, including instruction and Q&A. You get two instructors, for the price of one, demonstrating and giving feedback. We are also allowing a limited number of students to join us in the studio for live instruction. We are currently offering a different dance each week.
Your first dance will form the second strongest lifelong memory of your wedding day, for you and your guests! One married couple who didn't take lessons for their wedding, said, "there's a hole in our hearts where our first dance should be." One of our grooms said, "It let us be IN the moment rather than trying to just get THROUGH the moment."
From early on in our dance career, we have been very lucky to be recognized and featured in a variety of media, From articles in the Baltimore Sun, the Jewish Times and the Hopkins Dome, to radio and television interviews on WMAR-TV 2, Fox 45, and WBAL. We have even had the opportunity to dance on the large and small screens.
From live, wedding testimonials, to wedding dances, to dancing in the park, and on the small screen. A picture is worth a thousand words, and moving pictures are worth even more! We taught this couple for their first dance, taught dance lessons at their wedding to entertain their guests, AND DJ's their wedding, and this is what they had to say.

Lee is great to work with! My fiancée and I got a lesson with him and immediately decided to upgrade to a 10-lesson package before our wedding. While we are still 2 weeks away from our wedding (so we have not done our first dance yet), so far we have had a lot of fun and have learned a lot. Lee's strengths are that he clearly explains what aspects… really matter in a first dance and what doesn't (what the guests will not notice) and that he teaches the "why" behind certain moves, which frees us to focus on the few important aspects and enjoy the process. We love that he adapts to

My experience with beggining ballroom has been phenomenal! My fiancé and I decided to take 10 sessions but started off with group sessions. Both were important to build confidence in our dancing. I would highly recommend begging ballroom to anyone preparing for a wedding or to those couples who would like to add a new hobby that can last a lifetime!

My husband and I took dance lessons from Beginning Ballroom prior to our wedding. We had a great time learning not only a great selection of moves for our first dance, a foxtrot, but also the steps to several other dances including swing, the waltz, rhumba, and even salsa. Beginning ballroom's private lessons were a great break from wedding… planning where we could just focus on spending time together and having fun. In fact, we enjoyed the lessons so much that we continued even after our wedding! We had a wonderful time dancing throughout our wedding and had many guests come up to complement
