For over 25 years, Dr. James A. Grabow has been providing his patients with exceptional comprehensive orthodontic care. Highly educated, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University in 1986. Dr. Grabow then completed an orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics residency, as well as received his Master of Science degree, in 1989.

Our staff is highly skilled, well trained and has years of experience treating patients with the highest level of care.
Grabow Orthodontics aims to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Our office accepts payments by cash, checks, and Visa and MasterCard credit cards. We accept third-party financing through CareCredit, and we also offer zero-interest payment plans through our office.
We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough examination and a discussion of potential treatment options. This important 20-minute visit will give us insight into your orthodontic needs. We know your time is valuable, so to expedite treatment, we may also reserve time following the exam for diagnostic records.
You already know that maintaining good oral hygiene is important for everyone - but when you're having orthodontic treatment, it's even more critical. Why? Because, while the appliances (such as braces or clear aligners) you may need to wear during treatment are very effective in correcting misaligned teeth, they can also trap food particles easily.

Dr Grabow and his staff are truly amazing. My oldest just completed treatment with them and her smile is beautiful. My youngest is special needs and just started with them. They are patient and willing to go at her speed even if the appointment takes longer. I'm grateful we have them in our community.

Called the front desk and spoke with Carla to say I was running late and she acted like I committed some crime. Great service when I'm spending $3000 on my son's teeth, right?Grabow needs to get some new front desk ladies. Out with the old and grouchy, in with the new. Went to Sierra Orthodontics and they treated me great. DON'T GO TO GRABOW!!!

Dr.Grabow is the best orthodontist ever! He has the best chairside manners of anyone! I understand his father is a general dentist in town! I have met the man! What a treasure of a person also! If you need braces Dr. Grabow is your man! His staff are all absolute sweethearts as well!

I first went to Dr. Grabow when I was 8, after having a retainer cemented in for years. I had always been told that I would have to have orthognathic surgery when I was older. Once I changed orthodontists, Dr. Grabow recommended taking out my current retainer and to let my mouth finish growing. I eventually got braces as I got older, and because of Dr. Grabow's excellent work, I never had to have the surgery that I always feared would need to be done. I am always getting compliments on my smile now and I could not be happier with the final results. He did the best job and referred me to the

I think Dr. Grabow is the best orthodontist in Sonora. He has put braces on two of my children and their teeth turned out great! He is highly professional and reasonably priced. His prices might be a little bit more than some other places, but the quality is worth it! I love that whenever there was a problem he would fit them right in (without an appointment). It has now been a couple of years since their braces came off, and the results are still beautiful!
