Asylum is a legal protection granted to individuals from other countries who are physically present in the United States and who are at risk for persecution if they return to their countries of origin. While an individual may not have any legal reasons to remain in the U.S., such as a marriage, college or employment, a grant of asylum allows the person to stay in the country without fear of deportation.
Most immigrants who wish to work in the United States will need legal help to get approval. Generally, you will need the sponsorship of a U.S.-based employer who intends to hire you on a long-term basis. The employer you approach must also receive approval from the United States Department of Labor (DoL) and/or the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Many businesses who wish to hire foreign workers delay starting the process because of the legal complexity. Working with the Department of Labor and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services can feel like a daunting prospect. Thankfully, a knowledgeable and experienced immigration attorney can make the legal process a simple matter.

Please DO NOT use this attorney. First, we never actually met him even though we spent $5000.00+. He took our money then did nothing. After threatening to fire him and report him to the GA BAR he responded. His staff are the biggest bunch of a** kissers I've ever met with on a "professional " level...

Very BAD experience and we came highly recommended. We were with them for about two years and nothing was done on my moms case. We went to a different attorney who informed us that nothing had been filed when we're under the impression and had been informed that it had been. I asked for an itemized bill to get some money back and they told me that they don't do that. So you take my
money and do absolutely nothing. Please go to a different firm that actually cares about their clients.

Great Immigration Law Firm. The staff is really communicative and supportive to your needs. You can NOT be in their office for more than 5 mins without someone asking you if you need assistance with anything which is great customer service in my opinion. The actual Lawyers are extremely knowledgeable and very good listeners and will answer any and all questions you have. Once or twice I did stay in the conference room for a good 15-20 mins watching TV, but every 5 mins the front desk assistant would reassure us that our lawyer was stuck in traffic and would give us her ETA.
