Spa Remedy was created in 2014 by husband & wife team, Jim and Maggie Kuckie. Maggie was working as an operating room nurse at Riverside and had been a nurse for 4 years at the time of Spa Remedy beginnings.
Having also been a licensed massage therapist for 9 years at this time, Maggie had a desire to continue offering massages and provide more preventative health options to the community so sat to discuss this one morning in June of 2014 with Jim. Jim was working as a Sales Manager at Best Buy in Orland at this time and had always dreamt of building a business and doing more!

A been having some back & neck issues. Made an appointment thinking a massage might help. I didn't know any of the therapists so I went with the first one listed, Lauren. She was fantastic. Perfect amount of pressure and even asked if it was too much or not enough. Def helped work things out. Was so good I made another appointment before leaving.

Hubby and I had a gift certificate for a couples massage for almost a year. Been trying to get in together which is hard with work and kids. After cancelling a few times we finally made it in last night. Lauren and Quincy I think their names were, were excellent! I had Lauren and I am a tense mess and she mixed oils to accommodate me and my tension. My husband had the CBD oil and was so relaxed I thought he had fallen asleep a few times. From the front desk, therapist and Janet who helped me pick the packages was exceptional! They do so many other services and I am excited to try them all

I went in to go buy a gift card for my bff birthday. as soon as i wakes in i felt instantly judged. i just came from school so i wasn't in the best attire but basic sweatpants and sweatshirt. when i went up to the desk i didn't get a hi or a hello. when i asked to get a gift card she normally told me prices but had a displeased face. when we finished the order and she gave me the card she didn't greet me goodbye it said her u go she just set it in front of me and when i said thank u she didn't say anything back. and as soon as i walked away she greeted the lady seated with such

I can't say enough about this place! I absolutely love it! All of their services are great. Plus, everyone is so pleasant and professional. As someone who works in a profession that results in a lot of aches and pains, a massage is not just a luxury but it has become a necessity! I really think I'm going to take advantage of their Spa Membership. Worth every penny and then some! You won't be disappointed

Everything about this place was wonderful! From Jim at reception, who accommodated our every need, to massage therapist Jamie, who gave me one of the best massages I've ever had, to the beautiful, CLEAN, relaxing atmosphere, it was an all-around perfect experience! It's hard to find an upscale spa that doesn't charge upscale prices, but Spa Remedy delivers! Great value for a top-notch spa experience!
