Despite not being able to take on my case specifically, Mr. Afsar responded to my voicemail. He was so generous and kind. (I am literally in tears.) His philanthropic assistance was so unexpected. He was the first of at least a dozen lawyers to call me back--knowing he and his firm stood nothing to gain from the call. I am floored by his benevolence. People make a lot of jokes about lawyers...but this was the first truly kind act I have experienced in a long time. If I could rate this business 10 stars I would. No one ever wants to need an attorney, but if you do, this is the one to go to.

Afsar went above and beyond, even my own expectations to help answer a few questions I had regarding landlord issues. When I first went to Mr. Afsfar and was impressed with his knowledge. However, 7 months into the lawsuit, nothing had been done. He was late turning in papers for deposition so that mean't another month and another 1,000.00.
Do not go to this attorney, he is all about getting as much money out of you as possible.

FLAKE!!! I have called this man's office 3 times since December. Each time leaving a detailed message to his receptionist Carla. She assured me 3 TIMES that Mr. Afsar would call me back that day. I have a simple breach of contract lawsuit I need to hire an attorney for in the amount of $120k. Seems like some easy money for a guy who works in the field, but NOPE! Won't call me back. Calling around to new attorneys starting tomorrow. Hope my experience helps anyone thinking this might be the attorney for you! Good luck. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

As a result, we missed a vital date. Beware if you hire this guy. He has a smooth presentation, slow to deliver was our experience.
He called recently based on my previous 1-star review asking for a second chance. Too late a deadline is a deadline.
90 mins later... first both my 1-star Yelp posts have been removed. Amir has responded, yet again.
We were furious with him. Unless he was able to turn back time, the only other recourse was for him

I had many reservations about what I felt were unreasonable conditions in a contract on a property I was considering purchasing. I called the office and was immediately able to speak to Mr. Afsar, who spoke to me on the phone for 15 minutes and gave me excellent advice and confirmed all of my suspicions, recommending a more prudent course of action. I would not hesitate to hire Mr. Afsar in the future for any of my real estate needs. He is accessible, honest and clearly very knowledgeable.
