There are two types of teeth whitening procedures commonly used by dentists. The most common is at home teeth whitening which is done by using whitening gels which is placed into custom trays that are fitted for your teeth.
Zoom! Whitening system is an excellent alternative to over-the-counter whitening products. Zoom! is performed in our office, and generally takes a little over an hour to accomplish. It is achieved by gently placing a peroxide based gel over the teeth to be whitened, followed by shining an ultra-violet light onto your teeth.
Tooth Bonding (composite filling) is one of the easiest and least expensive cosmetic dental procedures. Veneers and crowns are similar types of tooth coverings because they both cover the teeth. However, crowns and veeners must be made in a dental lab. You would need to return to your dentist's office to have these restorations put on your teeth.
