This was my first time finding a personal chef in the Virginia Beach area, and WOW did Chef Lin and the Tailored Chef team not disappoint! He was incredibly responsive and accommodating from the moment I first reached out to him, tailoring a delicious 3 course menu to our group of 16 (seasonal salad; freshly caught rock fish over beans and couscous; and home made chocolate torte). He was more than accommodating to a few dietary restrictions our group had, showed up promptly on time as discussed, and had a dinner service than ran like clockwork! Chef Lin

Chef Lin Old prepared an absolutely delicious four-course meal for the celebration of my mother's 83rd birthday. From the appetizers to the dessert, each dish was flavored extremely well. Chef Lin is a top quality professional who cares deeply about the satisfaction of his clients. He is warm, attentive, and reliable. My family agreed will definitely use Chef Lin again!!

I cannot recommend Lin enough! It was so wonderful. We hired Lin & Chris for our parents 40th anniversary dinner. They were so friendly, prompt & professional. They were accommodating for anyone with a dietary restriction as well! (Vegan) They left the kitchen spotless, truly they left it cleaner than it was before they arrived 😂 It was such a special & delicious experience. Thank you so much for such a wonderful anniversary gift & dinner!!!

We hosted some co-workers at our house and had Chef Lin come in to create an amazing dinner. Chef really worked with us to create the perfect menu to fit everyone's taste while allowing for some chef creativity. Chef Lin and his souse chef Aaron made everything from scratch in front of us using nothing but the best ingredient's (and using local as much as possible). He also didn't mind when a guest was running late and we got off schedule from our original planned running; no worries at all! After dinner, everything was cleaned up up, word down, and put away. All this at a very fair price!

Tailored Chef, did not disappoint bringing love and excellence to our home this Thanksgiving. Perfectly prepared bird in color, taste and temperature. But most importantly made with immeasurable love. From the first bite to left overs the following days, the taste was as flavorful from day 1. Could not have done it better myself.
