In these days of specialists and travel to larger cities for health care, we have chosen a different path. It is our philosophy that dental care is best achieved when families can be cared for by an office that is close to home, who knows each member of the family, and understand those conditions and situations that are unique to that family.

As we age we all have the potential for loosing teeth. It can be due to accidents, decay or gum disease, but regardless the cause; restoring that missing tooth (or teeth) is usually best accomplished with dental implants. They can be beautiful, dependable, and can sometimes work in places where traditional dental techniques can't.

With dental insurance your employer purchases a certain policy or coverage for you. You may pay the premium with a payroll deduction or your employer may pay it. But it consists of a particular coverage that your employer agrees to. This coverage will cover procedures at differing rates. For instance 100%, 80% or 50%.
Growing evidence suggests that pregnant women who have gum disease may be more likely to have a baby that is born too early and too small. While more researching is needed it appears that gum disease triggers increased levels of biological fluids that can induce labor. Data also suggest that when gum disease worsens during pregnancy, there's a higher risk of having a premature, low birth weight baby.
