Little Acorn Montessori Academy offer children of Alhambra, 18 months - 6 years, an authentic Montessori school. Our Mission is to provide a safe, healthy, happy environment where children thrive both academically and emotionally as they discover a passion for learning. The Montessori system of educaiton is both a philosphy of child growth and a rationale for guiding such growth.
Our Toddler Program starts at the age of 18 months and continues until 36 months of age. Our Directresses provide your toddler with constant support and encouragement to build self-esteem, self-confidence, and their overall values. Our Toddlers are given the best of care and nurturing to create a peaceful, fun and exploratory environment while they are here at school.
In addition to our rich Montessori Curriculum, for children who are enrolled in our extended day, we offer five different programs: Spanish, Computers, Cooking, Art and Music. There is no additional cost to participate and a brief description below. COMPUTERS: Children use ABCMouse curriculum to learn how to use a mouse, tablet and follow a learning path that aligns with the Montessori learning method.
Was so fortunate to have my son attend this school for almost a year. He was in the infant room and loved it. He started crawling after only 3 days of attending the school and walking at just 8 months. Love the teachers and staff especially Miss Dolores the school chef and the awesome team in the infant roon lead by Miss Niki.they made my son feel welcomed and cared for and I was really sad that we moved this month because I wanted him to stay.
The Montessori system of education is both a philosophy of child growth and a rationale for guiding such growth. It is based on the child's developmental needs for freedom within limits, and a carefully prepared environment, which guarantees exposure to a wide range of materials, experiences and grace and courtesy, through which a child can develop intellectually, as well as physically and socially.

My wife and I have been looking for the best daycare for our daughter for a long time. We have done a lot of research and finally decided the Little Acorn Montessori Academy, since Little Acorn provides education by following the Montessori philosophy, which is what we have been looking for. Also, we are satisfied with their teacher-student ratio. And more.
My wife and I are very satisfied with this school. My daughter likes going to school, and she was very happy every day. She made lots of friends here that she almost talks about them all the time after school. In just a few months, her English

My wife and I are very pleased with Little Acorn Montessori. The staff and program administration are very attentive and responsive. My daughter has thrived in the short year she's been attending. This feedback that my wife sent to the Schools Director is a perfect illustration of the benefits of Little Acorn:
" I know the teachers work very hard and I want to also take this opportunity to pay special compliments to Ms. Andrea (been meaning to do so!). She is very attentive and every time I enter the classroom I have observed her patiently working with the children in the upmost positive way.

So thankful for Little Acorn Montessori Academy!
My child attended for a year and a large portion of that time was during the pandemic. We can't thank this staff enough for keeping the children safe during those uncertain months. We are frontline workers like many of the parents there and this schooled helped us by keeping the doors open while we were forced to work. The school did close for several weeks but then was able to open back up in May with COVID precautions in place.
Overall, this is an excellent school for kids. The teachers are so nice and know what's going on with each child. We

My son has been at Little Acorn Montessori Academy since the summer of 2018. From the very first day I felt comfortable leaving my son there. Having a peace of mind as a parent is priceless. Since then his social skills have improved beyond my expectations and his vocabulary surprises me when we talk while driving to or leaving from the daycare. They also help with potty training which I am very thankful for that. Ms. Syeda and Ms. Flora (pre-primary group) are very patient with my son and with other children as well.
The staff at Little Acorn are patient with the children and very helpful. They

Our daughter has attended Little Acorn Montessori for just over a year now.
She started in the infant room with Ms Nikki. We couldn't have been happier with the love and care our daughter has received. From the initial painful separation anxiety, it was only a matter of weeks before she was very happy in her new environment. I really do put this down to the way the teachers made her feel so comfortable and welcome every day.
Recently she has moved to the pre-primary classroom with Ms. Syeda and Ms Monica. In this class her communication skills have blossomed. She is so much calmer and her manners
