Ok, I waited until the end of the summer to write my review. I wanted to live with and use my ductless air conditioning and heat. We are into fall now and I am smiling as I turned on the heat to remove the chill this morning.
My house was built in the 1860's, small rooms with high ceilings with absolutely no room for ducts. We added a great room/kitchen with cathedral ceilings, also with no room for ducts. We have lived with loud, window units for years with drapes to close off rooms to keep the cool air in and keep costs down. Essentially, feeling like a tomb in the summer instead of a home

CoolAir Designs is great! I am very happy with the installation they did for me. They installed a new SpacePak Central Air Conditioning unit.It was reasonably priced and everything they said it would be. They were on time. The guys were very pleasant and polite. We found Cool Air Designs by Internet chance. The owner (Al) is a true customer-oriented businessman. He was on vacation when I left a weekend message for a quote, and got back to me immediately. He came as scheduled, and reviewed our layout and existing system. He clearly presented the advantages and disadvantages of the myriad of central AC systems currently available. The information made it easy to select the right system for our needs. The next day we received a comprehensive and competitive quote. This company from the owner to our service tech, Anthony, went above and beyond for us. My 87 year old mother's A/C went down in this heatwave and the unit she has is hard to get parts for. They got the unit up and running ASAP. Anthony was great dealing with my mom and the owner called me to check up on her after the fact. I have to say both their expertise and customer service were top notch. If you are in their area and have any issues with HVAC I highly recommend call them.

Cool air designs is a first rate customer comes first HVAC company. From start to finish Al(owner) and team were knowledgeable and professional. My wife and I 3 years ago had a ductless unit installed in our basement. Recently the unit started struggling to heat my basement. As it turned out Al's team identified that the unit had a slow refrigerant leak in the main coil. Upon having a phone conversation with Al withought hesitation he had a brand new unit delivered to my doorstep the next day! Shortly after his team installed it and all was good again! After contacting and getting estimates from a few A/C installation companies I thought I would give Cool Air Designs a call after a friend mentioned being pleased with their work . It proved to be a great move on my part as Al completely crushed the competition in price . I wanted a Lennox 16 Seer -3 ton unit for the house and his price was thousands less than another companies price for a 13 Seer , lower brand name .
