Friendly staff, great food, especially the wings and onion rings. Weird hours, closed on a Saturday afternoon at lunchtime.

Honestly I liked the old hoppers better where we could dance and stay all night but that modern open field looks good on the hotel. Staff is nice and delivers.

Tried to checkin at the wrong hotel, but the live music every Wednesday was so good that we stayed for dinner. We had the catfish with slaw, fried, mash potatoes and hush puppies. The two pieces of catfish were small but had good flavor. Overall everything hit the spot.

The Johnny Mack band is a delight. if you like music from the '60s and '70s come out one weekend a month and hear this gentleman sing and play. The female vocalist, Lori gibson, is extremely talented with a beautiful singing voice.

Some friends from work invited me to Hopper's Bar and Grill for the Friday lunch buffet. The location was closed for some time for renovations and it was one of their favorite lunch restaurants. The buffet had all of the usual Southern food favorites but featured fried fish and chicken. They had several options for desert to include two types of cobbler, apple and peach. I look forward to my next visit.

First time here. We had the beef dip and the Cobb salad. The beef dip had good flavor but a bit over cooked. The Cobb salad was not traditional but tasty. It was more a grilled chicken salad. The drinks were excellent and the beer was good. No frosted mugs. Cheese cake was better than the keylime pie. I would come again.

The "Hotel-Motel Holiday Inn" serves a lunch buffet. They have a wide selection of sides and about 4 meats/fish selections. The fried fish was my favorite and the mac & cheese was good. There was a large crowd so come early. My ticket was $11.98 before tip.

Not awesome. Staff elected to make us sit at the far end of the dining room, far from the bar, just because we had someone in our group under 21 who wanted to see live music too. Came at 8:45pm for the food and music, found age discrimination. For those in the same boat go to Humphrey's before 9 instead!

FUN TIME DESPITE RUDE WAITRESS...

My friends and I visited Hopper's last night. I think that I can speak for everybody when I say we had a great time. The band was good and the overall atmosphere was fun and energetic. Something that we have know and come to expect having been patrons for many years. The only thing negative about last evening was the rude treatment we received from the wait staff. After waiting 15 to 20 minutes for a waitress to come by to take our order. I got up and went to the bar to get drinks. I kept noticing a waitress coming by and ignoring our table. After she passed

If you get the nightly special, it's a good deal. I got the bbq, beans, & corn. The bartender was attentive and nice. A fair hotel bar restaurant.

A decent enough option if you're here on business without a car (like I was). The burger was perfectly serviceable although they left off the pickles I requested. If you like it anything less than medium-well I'd make sure to specify (they didn't ask). Bonus points for the sweet potato fries. The wings the guy next to me got looked pretty good but I just had the burger. All in all, a fair option to grab a burger/sandwich and a beer after a long day of conference stuff.

Me and my sister we're looking for a spot to do some dancing and listen to some music. This place is located inside a Holiday Inn. The atmosphere was lively and the music was great.

The musicians sung karaoke requests and I danced the night away. The place closed around 1:30 am.

Peter and The Wolf was the name of the group that played all kinds of hit songs and we even winded up doing the "wobble".

This is a nice place to go and have a good time without any drama and enjoying a couple of drinks with friends.

Finally tried the Hoppers Restaurant inside of the Holiday Inn by the Madison County Mall, located at 5903 University Drive. First let me say that the Hotel itself is dated. Period no other way to say it. However it did appear clean and tidy. The buffet at Hoppers was a lot better than I had expected it to be. Food was well presented, hot and quite frankly tasty. The salad bar provided a good mix of greens and accoutrements. I primarily had the fried chicken which was great. Not greasy at all with a nice crunchy skin and the chicken fried steak. The chicken fried stake was not cooked the way I
