The original design was inspired by the award winning photograph by Anita Nichols of Freelance Photos. Steve Kraft took that inspiration and hand pierced the mountain scene featuring the well known Penrose Peak, Blacktooth Mountain and Cloud Peak, with Lake Winnie in the foreground. The Big Horn Mountain jewelry is available in gold, silver and platinum.

Both of our jewelers are graduates of the New Approach School for Jewelers where they learned hands-on skills in such as sawing, soldering, repairs, finishing and polishing, stone setting techniques and advanced Stone setting techniques, introduction to ornamental hand engraving, silver fabrication, working effectively with silver, gold and platinum, platinum fabrication, and more.

I needed to get my wife’s wedding ring resized to a slightly bigger size. She also had an older ring that her grandmother gave her that needed major fixing. I went to various ring shops in town and didn’t like any of the prices that i was seeing. I then gave Mr. Kraft a call and he was able to give me a GREAT deal. I sent him the rings and within a couple weeks he made both rings look as good as new. I highly recommend getting anything you need here.

When I first walked into Legacy Diamond I was greeted with such kindness. I brought my engagement ring in to see if they could custom make a wedding band for it and to fix the parts for the original ring that were not 100% how my fiancé wanted it to look from the original jeweler( not legacy). They took on the daunting task of redoing parts of the ring to my satisfaction. Allen made sure I was informed about every step and made sure it was what I wanted before continuing. I recently took a design for a pendant to legacy diamond and gems to see if they would be able to create it.
Allen met with me several times through out the process to make sure everything was as I wanted. The finished piece exceeded my expectations. It is gorgeous. Perfect! Allen is definitely a gifted individual, he truly enjoys what he does and it shows. He's very enthusiastic and has a great eye for detail.
The entire team at legacy are professional and knowledgeable.

They made a gorgeous custom wedding band for my husband and fixed my wedding ring for me. They did a phenomenal job! My husbands ring is better than I ever hoped for and my ring is even better than the day I got it. They took my idea and made it come to life, and were so friendly and courteous. Legacy Diamond and Gems is such a nice place to do business with. I have had some repairs done here and they are second to none. Tom Kraft and his staff are absolutely first rate all the way. They make you feel right at home, something I've never experienced in a jewelry store! The jewelers really are top notch. Everyone in the store knows what they're talking about. My fiancé recently proposed to me in December 2018. He went with a company outside of Sheridan for my ring. He first chose the setting, and later chose the diamond to be placed in it. The prongs on my original setting (picture #1) sat extremely high off of the ring and the diamond was unstable. The whole ring in general was impractical, which made me not even want to wear my own engagement ring. Since the company who sold us this setup also saw the same concerns, he was told that the prongs could be changed and lowered to the setting after he proposed.
