If you are a person of color. Do not hire this firm to represent you for family law services. My experience was not good and far from what I needed or deserved. I am still paying off the bill for very unsatisfactory representation. I was not even notified that multiple partners left the firm and was given only the least amount of attention my case needed.

I needed some help with some legal forms. Ms. Lowe charged me $400 to talk to her and a $2500 retainer. After months of me following up with her office and begging for an update, or an explanation, I got nothing but promises that were not met. When I fired her and demanded my retainer back her office stopped responding to me altogether. After 18 days I haven't even heard an acknowledgment or apology, and I certainly haven't gotten my retainer back. The delays have exposed me to thousands in other expenses and a lot of additional risk.

I have since hired another attorney who

Cristin was my divorce attorney during a particularly difficult divorce situation back in 2012. She is very intelligent, fair and compassionate and has the client's best interests in her heart. We were able to finalize a settlement between my ex-wife and me. She quickly filed the necessary papers to help finalize the divorce. I would highly recommend her in the unfortunate event you have to go through a divorce.

I worked with Chelsea for two years getting through the divorce process. I found her very good to work with, pragmatic and focused on getting to a reasonable outcome in a straightforward fashion. She clearly looked out for my best interests and at no time did I feel I was being drawn into unnecessary expense. On more than one occasion she suggested areas where I could save money by doing certain myself. My advice to anyone looking for an attorney, not just a divorce attorney, is to interview them, ask them to estimate the range of potential costs in advance and ensure they are someone you want

I'm a Manager for the 4th largest Credit Union in the Nation. I'm a professional, fair and respected in my field. It's in your best interest not to use Cristin M. Lowe Law Office. They are initially responsive but after you provide a retainer they are no longer engaged with their client. Chelsea our Attorney called in sick the day of our hearing, she did not inform us if anyone would be in court in her place. After many calls to the office, we finally were informed that another attorney would be there. The lack of communication was nerve racking under the circumstances. The

Cost a butt-load of money for what was a very straightforward divorce mediation. $8K+ when we probably had 4 hours of face time. Continued to nickel and dime for every copy they made or every email they sent throughout the process.
Often felt like our mediator was just somebody who wrote the documents - we worked everything out ourselves / no ideas introduced from them. Initially, I thought our person at least explained the process and the law, but later on found things that were omitted. Wasn't happy then. Really not happy now.

I saw Cristin's YouTube videos for filling out the legal forms. I had a question on one of the items and shot her a quick email. To my surprise, she responded right away with her recommendation with no obligation or "hard sell". She really seems focused on helping people. I have not chosen a lawyer yet for my situation but you can bet I will be contacting Cristin if I need to obtain a lawyer.

My story might be a bit different than someone else going through a divorce, but I wanted to share my experience because Cristin and her crew of attorneys did such an amazing job. My (now) ex-wife had agreed to do an amicable separation with a mediator. Our mediator explained that that we would need an attorney to help us write up a separation agreement from her notes that would be legally binding and could be entered as a judgement.

We'd heard so many horror stories about divorce in California and the amount it can cost couples, so we were both cautious because we wanted our divorce to

I needed to consult with a family lawyer for a difficult family situation and Josh scheduled me in to see Eric C. Both Josh and Eric were incredibly compassionate and helpful. I am very grateful for all the help they have given me and would recommend them strongly to anyone who needs family law help.

I was really impressed with all of the free information on her website, including an entire video tutorial series for the first stages of the divorce process. It was very helpful. I emailed with a question and heard back from Cristin almost immediately. I am not a paying client, just used the free services, but I thought they were great.

Do no and do not hire this firm. They are a money grabbing super litigation focused set of attorneys who will charge you for every useless email and phone call (minimum 20 minutes even for a ten second call). They don't have your best interests in mind, just how much money they can make. My first lawyer left the firm within 2 months, and the other dragged the case with no progress for 4 months. You don't want them.

I Hired Cristin Lowe to manage my divorce in 2015. I spoke with three attorneys prior to hiring her and I am so glad I went with her office and her team.
They are located in Bishop Ranch. Easily accessible with good parking. The office is in the back right of the building entrance. Her team is well versed in law and the environment is calming.
Cristin knows quite a bit about divorce in CA. She helped guide me and I was able to make several favorable decisions based on her advice. She also has many tutorials and on line resources that help through a trying and painful process. I

Cristin is handling my complex highly contested divorce case. About 3+ years back, I had to hire an attorney overnight when I got a hint that my ex had hired an attorney and might be filing papers. With a little research, I decided to go with Cristin based on her Avvo rating. In retrospect, I am glad I did.

From the get go, I told Cristin my number one priority is my son's safety and she responded that she will do everything she can to protect him. She acted quickly and responded overnight with a response filing to the TRO & DV filed by my ex and saved my son's life and avoided

Cristin is a wonderful attorney - compassionate and concerned, with utter integrity. She truly cares about her clients, but even more so about their children. She is extremely professional, both in her demeanor and appearance, which serves her very well in a court environment. It is clear that she is well respected by both court officials and other attorneys, which is about the best endorsement you can get. In court she is very calm and coaches her clients to remain calm also - if you are an emotional hot mess (as I was), she is not afraid to check you and keep you in line - and that is a very

What can I say about the Law Office or Cristin M Lowe? I can tell you that from the moment I walked in the door I was comfortable, and that this was not a stereotypical law firm (like the ones you see on tv). .These were real people and they cared about what I was saying, and what I wanted to get done (Divorce). I worked with Cristin directly, she made herself available whenever I needed (I have a crazy work schedule), and made sure that all of my questions were answered, if not then, in a very timely manner. The whole staff was 5 stars, everyone knew my name and said hello any time I was in the

Didn't look out for my financial future..
After case closed and ran out of money no return phone calls..
Wasn't informed that alimony would cease at 62, which is the age my spouse will retire. I wish I had know this before I signed the agreement I would have never agreed to this.

I can't say enough about the good people at the Law Offices of Cristen Lowe. They are personable, professional, and responsive. Cristen's been working on a fairly complex divorce for us for a while now. She knows how to write compelling filings and she knows strategy. We are almost to the finish line and I'll update my review when we get there, but for now we are very pleased with the way Cristen and her office is handling our case.

Two reviews in one - how about that! The first one is about Cristin, then one for the office as a business itself.

Cristin - She loves her job, something I could tell the first time we met or when things got tough and complicated in court. I had a difficult child and divorce case, of which Cristin handled with empathy, acumen, and awesome command of her legal team. In court, she is calm, collected, precise, yet aware of her surroundings. In my case, it might have been that the opposing legal team that was downright horrible at their job, because Cristin stood in stark contrast, showing respect

It's sad that I have to give her a 1 star. But here's why

Pros: Does know the law and gives great advice.

Cons: Everything evolves around money. Every e-mail gets charged and even the one's asking why we haven't heard from her and shouldn't we be filing paperwork?

Staff very disorganized and doesn't respond to email or phone calls.

Not very aggressive in court.

Follow through awful

Obviously too busy to handle her case load

Doesn't review the work which cost us $400 more a month in child support had she taken the time to review and discuss the I&

Cristin is simply the best money can buy. Period. There should be a 6th star for her.

I never thought I'd be doing a review of a lawyer on yelp, but i realized the other day that Cristin's the reason I'm back out and living my life again. She helped me through a messy matter I'd care not to discuss here, but I can say she was my strength through the whole ordeal. I figure the least i can do is let other yelpers know about her and how great she is.

I did my attorney shopping and knew I found the right one with Cristin. There wasn't a sales pitch, only concern for me and
