My daughter always hated the dentist until her visit here so thank you all for your professionalism and kid friendly service. All of the doctors are up to date on the latest dental procedures. Elizabeth the hygienist and Cherry the dental assistant put you at ease.
Everyone at the front desk including Michelle, Vicky and Oni are professional and pleasant. The office manager carefully explains treatment and financial options. Excellent service by all. I found MSD through my insurance company. I'll admit I selected them out of laziness because it was the closest office to where I live.

I recently met with the folks at Southend Dental in Montclair. What a fabulous experience, the best I’ve ever had in a dental office. From the moment you arrive the ladies up front greet you with pleasantries.
It all continues going into the back with the dental staff, and the wonderful doctor who tended to my dental needs. She was very kind and professional as well as Mr. Agar who was a pleasure to speak with. Thank you for the discount sir!
I recommend this practice 100% for any of your dental needs. I’m very satisfied with the work that was done for me, I will be returning.

I adore this dentist. My visits are always a joy. They are more than willing to correct any issues and give great dental advice. I also like how they do allow for payment plans if you need it.
Shout out to the front office ladies, like Vicky! I recommend them. Be polite and honest they take will care of you :)

I found MSD through my insurance company. I'll admit I selected them out of laziness because it was the closest office to where I live. I am happy with my experience here, so far. The front desk staff and the office staff are always friendly. Dr. Azar is nice and seems to care. I was interested in Invisalign treatment and received it there with excellent results. I'll definitely keep receiving my care here for as long as I am in the area.

Good relationship/service with Montclair South (MS) for several years until I told Dr. Azar that I was opting to work with Smile Direct for my teeth straightening services. Prior to coming to MS I signed up for invisalign with a dentist/orthodontist practice that moved from NJ to NY several years ago. I was unable to complete the treatments as the commute to the orthodontist was too much every 3-4 weeks to pick up my trays. At this point I found MS and started going here. Recently, the hygienist/assistant at MS suggested I get another price quote for invisalign to finish the treatments. MS gave

Best dental practice I have ever been to. I am 7 1/2 month pregnant and needed a root canal at the time of my appoinment I was extremely nervoud and anxious everyone member of the staff was patient and very understanding they took time to make me feel comfortable they really care about every patient and explain everything to you.
Big shout out to Eureka (hope I spelled it right) what an amazing person she helped me stay calm and talked me through every step.

Came here from google recommendation. I dont know what the hype is about. Dr Azar was definitely nice, seems knowledgeable. I dont think its the most hygienic place. Gloved hands onto xray machine into my mouth back on to all the surfaces on the xray machine. I doubt they sanitize all surfaces. They arent heavily plasticized (plastic coverings on all surfaces for sanitation) like the other offices ive been to. So a little gross. Overall the office looked clean but i doubt ill be comfortable enough to go back in here knowing their hands will be in my mouth. They ask for 'copay' up front

I went to this dentist once for a cleaning and check-up. The hygienist gave me the quickest cleaning I've ever had and insisted I come in for another 'deep cleaning' (which of course involved another co-pay). Then she tried to upsell me on buying invisalign teeth straighteners. Then, the dentist came and didn't check my teeth or try to confirm that I needed a 'deep cleaning'; she also just tried to upsell me on invisalign. I cancelled the appointment for the deep cleaning, and then, they sent me a bill for not coming to the deep cleaning and not cancelling the appointment

Dr. Fara Azar is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. She spends as much time is needed with each and every patient. Dr. Azar also addressed all of my concerns and made me very comfortable and confident with everything done. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming, making this a very pleasant experience.

No xrays. No reason. I never saw the dentist- not even sure she was on site. The hygienist was rough- caught my lips and tongue with the scaling tool and seemed oblivious to it. She told me I "had to have" certain treatments done but when I expressed reluctance, she said the issues the treatments addressed weren't so bad. Did I mention I never saw Dr. Azar?

I would be very careful with the billing and service. Dr. Azar said I needed a root canal. They charged my Payflex account over $700 up front. When I went back for the procedure, the dentist who was supposed to perform it, told me I did not need one. The receptionist said she would credit my account. I left the company I was working for only to return four years later. When I signed up for my benefits and got my Flexible Spending Account set up again, I went to the doctor for a visit and my card was turned down. Turns out Montclair South Dental never credited my account. Instead they drew down

I have been going to this dentist since 2012. Dr Azar is one of the best dentists I have experienced. Her and her staff are welcoming and friendly to all patients. I came here to get the Invisalign treatment for my teeth. This dentist is pretty pricey, depending on your insurance but the service is high quality. I ran into a problem with this practice one time which resulted me in rating it a 4/5. Overall, the service is great.
