My love for authentic imagery reflecting honest moments has grown from a desire for communion with others. Communion is one of my favorite ideas because it describes the thing I like best about the human experience; An exchange of intimate thoughts or feelings on a mental or spiritual level. Authentic.

The time has come for big changes in the land of Fearless Photography! I will begin offering Richmond lifestyle photography services in 2022. While I am not officially accepting sessions until fall of 2022 I am accepting inquiries as soon as Spring 2022. I would love to document your love! I am a small business, functioning almost 100% on my own and sometimes I'm out photographing clients in far away lands without cell service.
I'm going to be honest. I don't really care if you ever put a single photograph on the wall of your home. I really don't. I'm a photographer and most of my walls are bare, but I have boxes and boxes full of sweet little memories that I absolutely love going through. I am the person that still goes home and digs through old photo albums from my childhood.
Photography is a tangible form of nostalgia. A moment that we deem important enough to want to remember. My journey as a documentary lifestyle photographer in Denver began because of childhood nostalgia and love of story telling. My mom raised us as a single mother and we don't have many images of her from our childhood years and into our teens years.
When I think of the images that mean the most to me from my childhood I think of all of those candid moments that were placed in scrap books. They were largely hidden away from the public. I always found that to be a little sad. We placed posed images on the walls but they never told the story of my family.
As a Denver lifestyle maternity & newborn photographer my main mission in my photography work is creating tangible memories of a time in your life that changes everything. The moments are fleeting, growth is measurable every single day in the beginning year of your newborn's life. But that growth isn't the only growth that occurs.

I've used Kyla for Family Photos, Engagement Photos and my Wedding Photos. Her skill, dedication and talent are absolutely outstanding. I've never been so blown away or moved by photos, and yet somehow, every time we use her, she continues to out do herself. Its obvious she has spent years cultivating her craft and it shows - she's professional, empathetic and knows how to be direct even in chaotic situations with lots of celebrating family members and friends. I've never been happier and I feel so blessed to have gotten to work with her on some of the most important days of my life. I cannot recommend

She was AMAZING!! I am so blessed to have such amazing photos of my wedding day. We had a few set backs like rain but we made the best of it! All of my photos are amazing she is amazing at her job and capturing the moment. Even with the rain she made my day feel and look so great! I would highly recommend and 10/10 use her again! My husband and I could not be more happy with our wedding photos from Kyla. First, Kyla is the sweetest and most amazing person to work with- period. She has a very calm and friendly demeanor. My husband and I are both camera shy...and Kyla made us so comfortable. Kyla is A M A Z I N G! She blew my mind with the pics of my daughter and I. She captured the love and emotions so beautifully! She was punctual and calm. Gave directions really well and was so delightful to be around. Her stuff is not super posed and captured our unique essence so well. I highly recommend her and tell everyone about her! We booked Kyla as our wedding photographer and were completely impressed. I am SO happy with how our photos turned out and the amazing service we received. We initially loved the style of photos that we found on her website but after talking with her during our consultant we knew she would be our photographer based on our conversation. She was nice, caring and took the time to get to know us and our story. Included in our package was our Engagement photoshoot which we did locally and the photos were great! On the day of the wedding, she made sure to capture all the photos we had previously listed
