Dr. Domenic Mazzocco graduated from Harvard University in 1984 with a bachelor of arts degree. He then graduated magna cum laude from Tufts Dental School in 1989 with a DMD degree. He was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, O.K.U., at graduation. His specialist training was completed at Tufts in 1991, where he received his certificate in orthodontics, allowing him to specialize and limit his practice to orthodontics.
Dr. Mazzocco has several people who work in the office who you will meet at your appointment. The front desk staff will check you in, make your appointments, and manage any paperwork for your treatment. The dental assistants will help Dr. Mazzocco put your braces on, change your wires, change your colored elastics, and help take your braces off.
Orthodontics (also referred to as dentofacial orthopedics) is a specialized form of dentistry, focusing on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial abnormalities. An orthodontist is a dental specialist who has received 2 to 3 years of additional training and experience. Your orthodontist is able to straighten teeth, correct misaligned jaw structure, and improve the function of your smile.

I would recommend Hanover Orthodontics to anyone! Especially those that have children who are nervous to get braces. The staff was friendly from start to finish, especially Rachel! Rachel was so kind & made my daughter so comfortable. She was extremely nervous to get braces, but is a lot better now because of how comfortable Rachel made her feel. We even got a few laughs!! Extremely pleased & happy that we decided to go to this orthodontist.

If this was before Covid, I would have rated 5/5 stars. The office was great, clean, accomodating. When you woud reschedule an appointment, you would get in the next week or two. Since Covid, it is a disaster. The kids go in themselves, which is fine, but then you get no update from hygeniest? so in the last year, I have no idea how they are progressing. I have 2 kids in braces, they can NOT ever schedule them on the same day?? not sure why, when you call they say they are fully booked. The last straw was my daughter had to take an online test after school, so I called to reschedule the routine

Great service provider with the exception that 90% of clients are school aged children and the office is open 4 days a week (Monday -Thursday )so plan on your child missing important school time so the office staff can have long weekends. Very disappointing in this adult free time over our children's education mentality. Go figure

Hanover Orthodontics with Dr Mazzocco has a professional and very friendly staff! I like how they have the kids sign in themselves. Having coffee and tea for patents is a big plus! Dr Mazzocco explains everything and will do what's necessary to get the happy smile you want to see from your child. I highly recommend Hanover Orthodontics.
