A question that frequently keeps people awake at night is how they are going to afford care later in life or for an aging or disabled loved one. As health insurance, health care, long-term care and prescription drugs continue to get more expensive, it is important to be proactive in planning for your long-term care needs.
We here at Elder Law of Georgia, P.C., are your partners in aging by pairing our elder law services with comprehensive estate planning and probate representation. We can craft a comprehensive plan that is enforceable and limits the potential for costly, emotional disputes among beneficiaries. Attorney Eric Owens will work one-on-one with you to think through every important decision and detail in your estate plan.
The loss of a spouse, relative or close friend is one of life's hardest moments. All anyone in this situation wants to do is spend time with loved ones and get through it. If you are also the administrator of that person's estate, however, you will have countless complex legal issues to sort through.

I had an urgent need to get legal paperwork in place for my aging and dementia afflicted mother. Elder Law of Georgia was very responsive and attentive to my needs, even traveling (for a reasonable fee; I did not expect it for free) to the facility my mother was residing in to accommodate us. I am very happy with the process, and am even considering using them for my wife and I in the future.

Last month my wife and I worked with Elder Law of Georgia, P.C. to establish a trust and power of attorney for a relative. In the past, we've worked with several law firms, and Eric and Tammy Owens are certainly the best. They are extremely professional, they do excellent work and they explain everything thoroughly. We intend to use them for our future needs.

I needed a POA right away for my mom who was in the hospital. They were able to put one together and send someone over the next day! They were caring and professional throughout the entire process. Such a relief to have something go smoothly in a time of crisis. Thank you!

We found Elder Law of Georgia through our MetLife legal coverage policy. This was the only firm I found that specialized in elder law, and even though we had to drive an hour, it was worth it. Everyone we worked with was personable and knowledgeable and the office itself is quaint. It was a good experience, and with MetLife, getting our living will/revocable trust set up was more than an excellent value.
