I am a sole practitioner focusing on criminal law, DUI, and other traffic violations. I started my career in Los Angeles County as a law enforcement officer in 1983. I moved to San Bernardino County in 1990 where I continued my career as a police officer. In 1998 I went to law school while working as a bailiff in the San Bernardino County Court System.
I graduated from California Southern Law School in 2002 and passed the California State Bar Exam that same year. Needless to say, I retired as a law enforcement officer and started my own law practice. Over the past several years, since residing in this county, I have gotten to know many of the people who work in and around the court system.

Great lawyer!!! I got clocked going 105mph by the CHP and was facing a large fine and suspended driver license I did not want to walk in that court room and try to explain why was I driving that fast so I looked for a lawyer and was blessed to pick David Leicht and the lady helping me was very honest and made no promises she told me it was going to be ruff but they will fight for me and they did just that and the case was dismissed with no fines or points on my driving record and the fee was at a great price I will definitely recommend there services.

Having gotten a bit carried away in a rented BMW outside of Barstow, I was issued a speeding citation. Got lit up for speeding on the way to the river and hired this office. Their defense strategy seems to be praying that the officer doesn't show up. I could have done that myself and saved the retainer fee. Needless to say, I lost. I was provided the incorrect new fine due date from the attorney's office. Lucky for me I called the court clerk to confirm the due ate and amount owed or I would have owed a civil assessment fee (late fee) of $300 on top of my speeding ticket and retainer fee wasted. I just spoke with the lady her name is Trudy. She was so helpful and honest! She said that my type of traffic ticket doesn't require lawyer and she explained in details how I can take of it. Reviewed a few attorneys on the internet then on Yelp and Yelp helped me to decide based on positive reviews to hire David Leicht for a speeding ticket. I called and we spoke and he provided details of his representation and felt he is knowledgeable in his field. Long story short I lost the Trial by mail but succeeded by trial in court. I was informed that the officer was fresh out of the Academy and made a rookie mistake and David Leicht capitalized on the mistake.
