6 STARS! From the moment my wife and I met Josh, we connected and he understood what type of vibe we were looking to create for our wedding. In my experience a DJ can either make or break an event. We were looking to create a soundtrack that mirrored our Indie Rock preferences, while at the same time, keeping the event lively. Josh knew just what to do -playing Indie at the right times and sprinkling in dance and hip hop at the right moments! DJ G has this uncanny ability to be able to feel the vibe of the room, read your mind, and translate that into music!

DJ G is a friend of a friend and was a perfect fit our wedding. The dance floor at our wedding was packed the entire time. Josh kept everything flowing just right. He was easy to work with both in the lead up to the wedding and on the day of the wedding, including accommodating a somewhat unusual floor plan (a tent next to a pavilion with outlets only in one corner). His announcements throughout the wedding were all very professional with correct pronunciations of some uncommon names. We've heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests!

Josh was fantastic! He truly went out of his way to make our wedding perfect. He put together a special mix for my father daughter dance and accommodated some last minute toasts/blessings. We had a great crowd and our guests never left the dance floor. Josh was also very responsive via email and was able to set up without much help on my part day of, which allowed me to get pictures done before. Thank you so much Josh!

DJ G (Josh) rocked our wedding! From my first phone conversation with Josh, I knew that I wanted him to DJ our event. He was prompt to respond to my first inquiry and was available throughout the planning process to answer any questions. As we got closer to our date, he was right on top of getting in touch and discussing the plan for the evening. He was able to set up a perfect timeline and clearly knows how to plan a wedding reception. We hired DJ G to perform for both the ceremony and reception and he was great. Mike and I HIGHLY recommend DJ G (Josh). Josh was super easy to work with ahead of the wedding when we were in planning mode + gathering our playlist. During our wedding, Josh made sure to play the songs on our "must play" list as well as mixing in songs that kept the flow and vibes just right! He had ALL of our family and friends up on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. It was such a blast and we relive that night constantly!

Josh aka DJ G is an incredible DJ! We hired him for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. His selection of music is on point! I first discovered Josh at another wedding I was photographing for and immediately noticed his professionalism and his ability to work the crowd. Josh is absolutely AMAZING! We hired him for the 19th Annual Ovarian Cancer National Conference to play our Teal Party-a party for ovarian cancer survivors and their families. A party, where they can leave their cancer behind for a night and just have fun. He did exactly that-he knew how to get everyone dancing and how to keep the dance floor going. Booked DJ G (Josh Goldman) for our 1/17/15 wedding. He did a fantastic job by taking our song choices and styles and blending them with choices of his own to keep the floor PACKED. We were just a bit worried that not enough people would dance. Josh took care of that. He had us jumping and knew just when to ramp it up or slow it down by blending seamlessly between songs, tempos and the like. Several times during our honeymoon we discussed how great of a job Josh did. I recommend him without reservation. Upon recommendation from a friend, we met with Josh to DJ our wedding. He was so friendly and knowledgeable that we knew very quickly that he would be perfect to provide the party atmosphere we wanted. He delivered all that and more with the help of his wife Jaime. I was recently at a wedding in DC where DJG played. I don't normally do reviews, but we had such an AWESOME time that I felt compelled. DJ had a great sense of what songs to play throughout each stage of the night, and kept the party going. He also was openly accepting of our Whitney Houston song requests. I just had an amazing experience with DJG as he rocked the house during spin class at STROGA. I definitely had to a) grab his card after class and b) hop on yelp to sing his praises. The mixes were amazing...every upbeat, high energy song you want to hear during a challenging spin class mixed with solid reggae and slower hip hop beats for the cool down moments. It was so awesome and now I am scheming about parties I can throw so I can hire him to DJ!

I attended an event (a large party in New York City's East Village) in which DJ G was spinning. It was a mad house. G killed it. He spun a pretty sweet mix of hip hop and dance, and although that night remains hazy in my mind, it was one of the best parties of the year. I would definitely recommend DJ G for anyone having an event.
