Company to avoid: Collins Tree Service. Terrible! Overpriced, logistically troubled (rescheduled delivery 4 times), finally came, brought less than half of my order, wood NOT dry (billowing smoke). I paid them in full in good faith (bad call on my part), I asked them to bring the other half anytime. They didn’t. Owner finally suggested a refund, which I agreed to. That was weeks ago. Hilarious excuses, multiple blow offs. Service: Tree trimming and pruning

We had a few bids to do some tree work. We went with a company called Collins Tree Service to start Aug 12th, and we regret it. Attached is a picture of the owner Mike standing next to his work. As you can see the tree has landing through our pool enclosure. We understand that accidents happen but we have been dealing with his insurance company who is not offering us enough to even cover the damage. We are letting everyone know, so, they do not go through was we are going through right now.

I have used this service twice. The first time, I paid for the removal AND stump grinding of 3 trees. The tree removal was to our satisfaction, but the stump grinding simply never happened. I called and emailed repeatedly and was given a run around. I finally just gave up and now I have baby trees growing out of my old stumps that I have to deal with. I desperately needed trimming on another tree, so I agreed to pay them again for a subsequent tree trimming job. This job was not performed to our satisfaction, but on sight when we tried to get the owner to complete the job, he informed us he had

Collins Tree Service has removed large trees on our property a couple times. We have found them to be very responsible. They show up when they say they will and do exactly what they said they would do. The price was very reasonable. We would contact them again for tree removal.

Highly recommend. We had a limb hanging over the house. Mike and his crew were there on time and knocked it out quickly and professionally. Next time I need any tree work done Collins Tree Service will be my first stop.
