Your first visit to Hayward Family Dentistry establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor.
Hayward Family Dentistry offers a full array of dental services to help you maintain a healthy smile. The following services are offered in our office. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take x-rays, which includes the periapical x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.

Teresa, a dental hygienist at Hayward Family Dentistry, went to the 3rd grade classes at Hayward Elementary to demonstrate proper brushing, flossing and nutrition. Every year Dr. Duffy donates toothbrushes and toothpaste to the third graders during dental health month. Dr. Duffy is a highly skilled dentist that goes the extra mile. I had been having issues with my front teeth and other dentists wouldn't address the issue. Our family has been going to Dr. Duffy since we moved to Hayward almost 30 years ago! Dr. Duffy and his staff are always friendly and concerned about making you comfortable for your checkup or procedure and also concerned about any problems you may be having with your teeth/mouth.
