Kaye first drove through Rappahannock County to hike the Shenandoah National Park. She soon called Rappahannock her home and built much of her first home herself, with a saw and hammer! We added on and still live there today. She is a great mother, wife and caring person. She is also a terrific photographer.
Rick has been a broker for over 40 years. He previously chaired the Loudoun County Realtors Professional Standards Committee. He is currently a member of the Rappahannock County Planning Commission and president of RLEP, the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection. Marrying Kaye and raising their son Andrew (who became an MD in 2017!) are his greatest achievements.

They were outstanding as a team to sell our home even though the customer that eventually bought the house made the offers and counter offers a long term ordeal. There was a calm attitude by Rick and Kaye and it turned out to be the correct approach and we are certainly happy with the results. Rick and Kaye were wonderful to work with.

I am apalled by the lack of professionalism by Rick Kohler. I realize that this is a very competitive market with multiple offers coming in for properties. However, Mr. Kohler operated in a manner that was unprofessional, arrogant, rude and to me, unethical.
My husband and I had our agent make a cash offer on a property on April 19th. We were told that multiple offers were being submitted and that offers must be in by 5 pm. We submitted our offer that was above asking price and included incremental increases above our initial offer. By Tuesday, the 20th, we expected to know if our offer was accepted
