Our Individualized care begins with your initial appointment where you will be evaluated and treated by a licensed physical therapist. Based on your unique needs a treatment plan, and home exercise program will be customized for you. Johan van Schalkwyk graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Physical Therapy degree from University of Hartford in 1998. Prior to being a Physical Therapist Johan graduated from Space Coast Massage Institute in 1992 and was a Licensed Massage Therapist in Florida. Johan has concentrated on orthopedic, sports and neuromuscular injuries throughout his career.
I was shocked to see that my right hip was higher than my left. Johan and the Schroth Method have gotten me straight again, and relieved my lower back pain, besides. Thank you, Johan and wonderful OSPT staff. I was in Yellowstone National Park playing in the snow and damaged by left rotor cuff while snowshoeing.
