Dr. Michael Spratt established Seeds Of Hope Family Chiropractic with the goal of serving the entire Blackstone Valley through gentle and effective upper cervical chiropractic care. Our practice is conveniently located in Douglas, just minutes from RT 146 (exit 4). Dr. Spratt is the only chiropractor in Massachusetts, and one of only two in all of New England, who utilize the Blair technique.
My treatments are progressing very well and Dr. Spratt is everything I have ever wanted in and from medical professionals. My overall experience has been very good, Dr Spratt is very thorough, and takes his time. Recently my 2 1/2 year old son began care due to his chronic ear infections, we are very hopeful to see improvement, and Dr. Spratt has had tremendous patience with him.
Like many chiropractors who enter the profession because of a personal life experience, Dr. Spratt was inspired to become a chiropractor after his own health was restored as a result of this powerful form of natural healthcare. Following a car accident in 1993, which resulted in a debilitating neck injury, Dr. Spratt sought out every form of traditional medical treatment.
Most parents make sure their children have good dental hygiene and brush their teeth regularly. They also have their eyes checked, why not their spines? The birth process can be a traumatic event in the life of an infant. The twisting and pulling on the baby's head and neck as they pass through the birth canal can often result in the child's first misalignment.
Dr. Spratt is the only chiropractor in Massachusetts qualified to perform the "Blair Upper Cervical Correction". Blair upper cervical care is a unique system of finding and correcting nerve interference in the upper neck area. This is a highly important area of the spine as all nerve messages, between the brain and body, must pass through the upper cervical area.

I was recently diagnosed with Meniere’s disease and was apprehensive of being treated with the conventional manual adjustments on my upper neck. After some online searching, it seemed that the gentler approach offered by the Blair Technique, was a good alternative. Practitioners of the Blair technique are few and far between, so I was happy to find Dr. Mike’s practicing in Massachusetts. Dr. Mike is very thorough and attentive, and I have visited him regularly since my diagnoses. Now some months later I am back to happily carrying on my normal routines.

Dr. Spratt is so personable and clearly loves what he does. I used to have constant back pain but after just a month of treatment I find myself sleeping better, standing straighter and without all that extra pain! I like to think of my appointments as a weekly mini spa treatment where I can relax and reset from any tension or stress that I incurred from the previous week.

I met Dr. Mike by chance at just the right time. I had been experiencing a headache for about 3 months. I tried massage, prescriptions, traditional chiropractic. Nothing worked. My first visit Dr. Mike diagnosed the issue, corrected it and my headache was gone when I woke up the next morning. I’ve been seeing him regularly since, probably close to 7 or 8 Years now.

Dr Spratt is an incredible chiropractor. He is very compassionate and wants the best outcome for all of his clients. About a year ago I started my journey with seeds of hope family chiropractic suffering with severe hours of vertigo, migraines, neck pains and occipital neuralgia symptoms. The results for relief in my neck, headaches and neuralgia symptoms were seen within a few visits. After a couple of months of consistent adjustments my c1 and c2 began to hold and then a few months later my vertigo ceased. I am proud and blessed to say it's been a year now since my last severe vertigo attack

Dr. Mike is such a pleasure to work with and be a patient of. I have been to many chiropractors over the years each with their own style and I have truly found the one that works best for me. He is gentle yet effective and focuses every single appointment on what YOU need and are feeling. Often he will even find things or ask about things that I only then realize was bothering me.
