Bug & Weed Mart's Gilbert store is the newest location of our Phoenix metro do-it-yourself, pest and weed control stores. We are easily accessible in a small strip mall on the east side of Gilbert Road just north of the San Tan Loop 202. Gilbert is well known for its small town atmosphere, though we have a substantial farming community, too.
Mesa was our first Bug & Weed Mart location and our Mesa store is conveniently located just north of Hwy 60 on Gilbert Road. With many other retail stores in the same shopping center, stopping in at this Bug & Weed Mart location makes it easy to get a lot of the shopping you need to take care of in one stop - and have breakfast and lunch at the nearby restaurants, too!
The Phoenix Bug & Weed Mart store is located directly across from Uptown Plaza Shopping Center, and between State Route 51 and Interstate 17, making it easy for Phoenix residents to drop in and pick up their pre-emergent granules, scorpion black lights, and all their bug and weed supplies. Living in the city has its advantages, but having bugs is not one of them.
Many Scottsdale homes have extensive landscaping, so eliminating weeds is a constant battle. At Bug & Weed Mart, we not only carry all the products and supplies you need to rid your yard of nutgrass and other weeds, but we also have decades of experience in giving out expert advice on how to address all types of pest and weed issues.
Bug & Weed Mart Tempe is located in the Fry's shopping center on the northwest corner of Baseline & McClintock. We are right across the street from Chapman Chevrolet. We have test strips so you can trap insects and bring them into our store so we can identify what they are and sell you what you need to get rid of them.

They have never been wrong. If it's bugs, bring a sample and the will tell you what it is and how to get rid of them. I had problems with roof rat, caterpillars, termites, ants, and weeds. All were addressed by "the bug guy". They alway have great suggestions. Such as, using a Payday bar to capture rats.

This is a first-class establishment. They have expert knowledge on local pest control and they are always happy to educate me on what solutions are available and just how to apply them.
I am particularly pleased with their help in controlling scorpions. After using their product we rarely find any scorpions. If we do see one it is usually dead… or very sick. As a bonus, we no longer have cockroaches, crickets nor many other pests that used to bother us.

I went to Bug & Weed Mart on the advice of a neighbor who had a termite issue. I met with the manager, who was affable and had some good knowledge, I bought the termiticide (Taurus SC) for $300 and went about drilling my house and preparing. I was unclear on the application direction, so I went on-line to get help, I am glad I did! I found that there were dozens of sellers that had the product I had bought at Bug & Weed Mart for $300 for $170 - $190! I went back to the store, showed the manager several prices for the Taurus SC. At first he said "sorry, I can't help you"

Bug and weed mart is great. Their staff had always been very knowledgable and helpful whenever we go in there. We recently purchased our first home and a few months after moving in discovered we had termites, yes we got a termite inspection prior but of course the company that ended up doing it is not a great company but that's another story. After getting a quote for over $1,000 from a big name company and doing some research we knew we cld do the samethjng ourself just had to put about a days labor into it, the staff was great and told us exactly what to do, so $300 later And A few months

This place has been a terrific resource for us. Best selection of scorpion control around. We went for the "atomic" option four years ago and with help from the very knowledgeable staff managed to get our pests out of the house. With the staff's continued guidance, we've managed to keep the scorps out since. Thanks so much!
