Words can’t express how happy, grateful, and impressed we are with the experience and the portraits we got from Kim at K J Photos! I called Kim at the end of October in a panic. Our son’s first set of senior pictures with another photographer came out awful and there wasn’t even one image we could choose for his yearbook photo. I called other photographers and they couldn’t do the pictures in time for the yearbook deadline. Then I heard of Kim at K J Photos in Waunakee and took a chance and called. Kim put me at ease right away telling me not only could she do it, but she could get him

Kim is an excellent photographer! She listened to all of our requests and made both of my girls feel comfortable and at ease throughout their senior picture sessions. She took us to several locations and gave us SO many great photos, it was hard to choose just a few!! Kim has also taken our family photos and we were equally impressed with the quality and care she put into each and every photo. To top it all off, her communication and turn around time from picture day to finished proofs was top notch! I would not hesitate to recommend Kim for all your family photo needs!!

Kim was excellent to work with for our twins' senior photos. We were able to accomplish all the things both kids were interested in doing. Plus, Kim came with ideas as well. She suggested we meet the next day at a different location to get some add'l cool shots the kids were hoping for. Our photos turned out beautiful and we were all were very pleased with them. She handled getting photos to our school for the yearbook and taking care of other photo requests later. Excellent follow-through, kind, easy to work with. Beautiful quality. Very professional! Kimberly is an amazing, award-winning photographer. She has photographed both of my kids over the past year (ages 12 and 14), resulting in gallery quality portraits! Kimberly is high energy, yet calm -- putting my kids at ease and making the whole session uplifting and just super fun. Her shoots are also creative -- getting the sun at just the right angle, adding some spectacular effects with colored dust or water, and coming up with some super cool and out-of-the-ordinary photo ideas. You can tell she puts a lot of thought into getting the best photos for her clients. I highly recommend K Jay

Kim's work with both of my daughters on their senior photo sessions was fantastic. She went above and beyond capturing what made them unique and happy, and it shows in the photos! Not only that, but she made them feel comfortable during the process. I intend to use her for my son when we get to his senior photos and i would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional photographer, reasonably priced, who loves what she does, and bringing out the best in photography with young people.

I started searching for a senior photographer about a year before hiring KJay photography to take my sons pictures. I followed every photographer I could find in the area on Facebook. As I saw pictures being posted there was one photographer who's work always impressed me, KJay Photography. After working with Kim it became apparent why her photos are so amazing. She gets to know her subjects, she provides great suggestions to get the shots you want. She has wonderful locations understands the importance of lighting and works seamlessly and creatively to get hundreds of fabulous shots.
