I was looking for structure, professionalism, the "REAL DEAL" Martial Arts and kid friendly. This is it! It is very affordable, the instructor demonstrated patience as well as getting on my child's level. Within one hour he boosted my daughters self esteem and gave her confidence that she didn't come in with.

Kyoshi is such a nice man who is all about manners as well as discipline. KSR is one of the best Karate program you can have your child in. Daily Classes and activities, awesome coaches, as well as good discounts! His evening/night classes are just as better !! Thank you Sir!

My daughter's went to KSR for years. The after school and summer program are great and affordable. They taught my kids self control and how to work well with others. They also offer so much more then karate, such as dance, crafts, field trips, study time and free time. KSR gave my little ones freedom to grow into their own individual people.

Kioshi Tony is the absolute best. My daughter has behavioral issues, anxiety and OCD. I was skeptical she would stick to karate because she has never stuck to any hobby (but her ipad), but she has been with his dojo for 3 years now and loves it. Tony is incredible with children; patient, kind, but also firm when he needs to be (and in a manner that avoids making the child feel that they are not “liked.”) He helped to instill a sense of discipline and pride in my daughter. We moved 30 minutes away but I am still taking her to KSR rather than the local karate studio (which we tried), because

This is not a summer camp but a martial arts school. They use the term “Summer Camp” which is deceptive. Summer camp implies child care.
They are not responsible for the supervision of children which is stated in their martial arts school and summer camp agreement. Scary!
The owner is directly requesting 5 star google reviews from parents.

My 8-year-old has been a part of KSR for about a year with the after-school program as well as the summer camp. I went to his second (my first I was able to attend) belt test a couple months ago, and I could not believe how awesome and disciplined the kids were! I was so impressed by it that I spoke with Shihan afterwards and asked when I could start taking lessons. My son loves and respects Shihan, and Shihan is so awesome at teaching the kids manners & respect while also being kind and not too harsh. KSR Kids for life!!

Shihan is the greatest teacher ever! My son has only gone to 2 adult classes and helps out with the camp program since my grandson attends the program. He is 14 and would lay in bed until 1:00pm since everyone is gone from home. He now looks forward to getting up and going to help at the camp, he's learned more respect about himself and others. He has changed in just a week's time and had been given a new outlook on life. Thank you Shihan!
