Maravilla Care Center is nationally known as a leader in behavioral long term care. Our community is comprised of five neighborhoods, providing specific individualized care to their distinct neighbor populations. Our neighbors move through our neighborhoods as their needs change, but their sense of "home" is unchanged regardless of the neighborhood.
Our goal is to provide a safe environment that allows our neighbors to feel a true sense of dignity and autonomy of choice. This is embodied in our person-centered care "Radical Hospitality" philosophy which serves as the driving force behind the culture of care at Maravilla Care Center. This model focuses on addressing the needs of the whole person, including physical, social, emotional, and behavioral components.

Services
At Maravilla Care Center, we offer resident-focused skilled nursing care. Medical services are provided to our neighbors through both highly qualified medical directors and nurse practitioners. All medical services are under the direction of Maravilla's medical director and our managed care plan clinical partners.
The psychological and behavioral needs of our neighbors is under the direction of a qualified Psychologist (PhD) who works in tandem with Counselors, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and the Community's Interdisciplinary Team. The palliative care services at Maravilla Care Center offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary care program for patients with advanced illnesses.
Each month, Maravilla Care Center provides a Chef's Selection Dinner, which showcases gourmet cuisine from around the world. Our team is specially trained to create a meal each month that focuses on a specific region or theme. This special evening gives our residents the feeling of a night out at a five-star restaurant.

I am approaching my one year anniversary with Maravilla Care center as Activity Director. I came to Maravilla with a background in social services, education, and recreation management for individuals with varying levels of developmental abilities. My introduction into the skilled nursing world has made a valuable impression on my career goals and the difference I want to make in the lives of others on a daily basis. The staff at Maravilla work tirelessly to make sure residents are well cared for and engaged in a variety of activities that match their unique interests and social needs.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a job. My rate is 0. My boss didn't care was rude and had the worst way of communicating with staff including my self. No support from anyone. Staff is rude always gossiping. The worse manged facility ever. High turn over. Most state visited I've ever seen in 13 years

For such a dated and poorly managed facility, i have worked in better. Their hiring process is tedious! You will have to prove how long you have been a nurse in order for them to consider how much you will be paid.
I decided to work PRN for them and went through the interview process. When it came time for orientation, i was informed that as a PRN i will have to work all shifts even though i clearly stated in my application that i was only interested in NOC shift and the Lead CNA who interviewed me never once mentioned this.
Betty the HR is very unprofessional and dishonest. She needs to do her

I am a CNA, medical assistant, caregiver and have been working as such for 30+ years. When I found out I had a client at the maravilla I was excited as I had read and saw the brochure for the Maravilla.
What a disappointment. The facility is mediocre. The kitchen service is horrible. You will need to understand the help is in charge not you as a resident. You will wait until they are ready to serve you and about 50 to 60 percent of the time you will receive the wrong order and they roll their eyes as to say yeah of course I was wrong. Very rude.
The "medical" staff is laughable. You would think
