Since 1983, Peace Lutheran Preschool and Learning Center has been committed to providing a safe, loving and Christian environment, filled with developmentally appropriate learning experiences for every child. Peace provides year-round, part or full-day care for children ages 6 weeks through kindergarten, and enriching summer camp, before & after-school programming for elementary learners.

Through a cooperative partnership between parents, staff, and Peace Lutheran Church, our mission is to nurture children, to develop positive strengths, ethics, and skills necessary to fulfill God's purpose for their lives and to meet the challenges of our world. Peace Lutheran Preschool and Daycare (PLPD) is taking every precaution to keep our staff and your children safe.
Services
Understanding that every child can learn and has individual needs and skills, PLPD provides a wide range of positive learning opportunities to foster the healthy development of the whole child- social, intellectual, physical, emotional, moral and spiritual. The curriculum is based on child-centered teaching practices that encourage cooperative and play-based learning experiences that are designed toward academic readiness.
We are a session based preschool & learning center with the morning session running from 8-12 and the afternoon session running from 12-4. Peace will be open on some of the holidays observed by the El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) for day care only, during these holidays there will be no preschool but sign-ups are available in advance for our daycare services.
Pastor Diana Linden-Johnson, the pastor of Peace Lutheran Church & School, leads chapel with children ages 1 and older each Wednesday morning. Together we pray, sing songs, and read stories about God. Over the course of the school-year we learn about stories from both the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible and the New Testament.
Peace offers exceptional, year-round education and care for children 6 weeks - kindergarten. In addition, Peace provides before & after-school care, transportation to and from local elementary schools, and fun and educational summer camp opportunities throughout the summer for elementary age learners!
Our goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for your baby. Our desire is to care for infants in a warm and affectionate way to let them know that he/she is a special person, including the physical affection and cuddling that is so important at this stage of development. Music Time: Singing songs in English and Spanish using scarves and musical instruments to dance/move around with are used for music activities.

Very unprofessional, I had submit the application to enroll my son back in June 2021. Every week I would call and the front desk guy would tell me the person in charge of processing (owner) and looking over the application was out/off. But get this, I would pass by and his car would be parked at the pre school. He even leaves late. Instead of telling was going on, they just refused to speak to me about the situation or even give me updates. On the enrollment.
They lack on communication, I can imagine they also lack on incidents that happened with the children under there care.

Amazing school with wonderful loving staff. Challenging academic curriculum and active learning environment. The children are happy and well loved. Peace Preschool and Early Education is an emotionally , socially, spiritually and academically challenging environment. They have put the latest COVID 19 safety protocols in place so that parents and caregiver can feel free to leave their children at school and go on with their work. I love Peace💚🌻🙏🏼

We would like to express our true gratitude for Ms.Patsy alongside with Ms.Laura and Ms. Roxanne, they all did a wonderful job with our daughter at the Early Toddlers classroom.
As a working parents it was so hard to leave our daughter knowing we wouldn’t see her until we would come back from work, specially at such a young age, babies need their parents.
Having Ms.Patsy in our lives has been a true blessing, our daughter was always treated as if she was a daughter of her own. With patience and love Ms.Patsy made this transition a wonderful experience for our daughter. She pushed her into wonderful

I am extremely happy with the school!!! My son was attending another school for 1 1/2 years, where he has never able to adapt and the teacher was being really mean to him considering my son is only two. However, I moved my son to his school he has been here for 4 months and he is a totally different person he is always happy and loves his teachers !!! I am very happy with this school and the staff is very friendly .

Peace preschool has went down the last year, there is so much unprofessional it makes me uncomfortable dropping my child off. There is no organization to the point I have no idea who is running the school. The pastor that runs the school had allegations of hurting children to the point that several children were pulled from the school. The new tuition is ridiculously high to the point it is impossible to afford. I would never suggest anyone to enroll their children in this cold, non family oriented school. The horrible people in charge care more about the money going into the school/church more

I have been involved with Peace in several different ways, currently I am a parent, and I love this school. I was uncertain about the change in administration, however, I am very impressed and happy. Class sizes are now completely within ratio (actually better); weekly newsletters are informative, organized, and to the point; the building and classrooms are CLEAN; the office staff is friendly and takes the time to answer questions and listen to concerns; Pastor is friendly; I can see exactly where my money is going...through the high quality of care, and educational experiences facilitated.
