Mitchell Family Acupuncture in Berkeley is honored to be a full-service integrative health center, providing community support, education and comprehensive natural family medicine for all. Our practitioner team works together to bring you a personalized approach to medicine to allow your deep health to emerge.
A new patient consultation consists of a complete health history and a thorough review of your present condition. Your appointment will be approximately one and a half hours. We will review information about your diet, exercise, lifestyle and stress level, as well as information regarding your sleep and daily routines.
We offer personalized care and the frequency and number of treatments differ from person to person. Some people, especially with acute issues, experience dramatic relief in the first treatment. For complex or long-standing chronic conditions, one to two treatments per week for several months may be recommended.

This is a superb practice with excellent practitioners. I highly recommend them. I have seen Amy myself and have taken my daughter to Lauren. Both are kind gentle and extremely well educated in their field. Lauren specializes in pediatric acupuncture and was an excellent match for my eight year old who had some anxiety about the needles. Since seeing Lauren her immune system has improved. It wasn’t only acupuncture but a holistic health consultation. Full stamp of approval!

I was so fortunate to find Amy during my second pregnancy from my prenatal yoga teacher's recommendation. She helped me manage severe nausea and gave me the physical and emotional support that I needed during a challenging time of my life. Her calm presence is so full of love and care. Amy's beautiful space was like second home to me. It still feels that way - so nourishing. Amy has been my acupuncturist for over 10 years and has supported me through several serious health conditions. I have received nutritional advice from her, as well as Chinese herbal remedies which have been very effective.
