Sugarland Learning Academy is a private, licensed, local developmental preschool, which follows a strong academic curriculum for children between 6 weeks and 12 years old. Emphasis is placed on areas of academic importance such as math, language, art, social studies and science. Academics are balanced with various activities to provide the children the opportunities for fun.
We absolutely love it here! The administration is excellent, extremely responsive, and caring. The teachers are enthusiastic, motivated, and adore all the kids. We toured almost every single preschool/daycare center in the area. SLA was the best, hands down. And we couldn't be happier with them.

We embrace a philosophy of education that combines a loving, warm learning environment with a challenging Lean to Green academic program. Our school addresses each child's individual developmental needs through play-based learning. Our curriculum and daily experiences provide each child with opportunities for a fun, green, and enriching environment.
SLA's infant program welcomes babies as young as 6 weeks old. Trained and nurturing teachers offer a creative world for infants to help their minds and bodies develop. We understand every moment in a baby's world is precious and strive to stay committed to making you feel comfortable to call Sugarland Learning Academy your baby's second home.
At SLA our goal is to be more sustainable and environmentally friendly, which made having solar panels essential. Our students will experience how solar energy energy works through the use of advanced technology. Put quite simply geothermal is a method for heating and cooling a structure using the constant ground temperature.

Our 4 year old just LOVES his school! The teachers truly care about the whole child and treat each of them as an individual. I love that this is a screen-free facility and there is just as much emphasis on physical activity as there is on learning. I have seen so much growth in our son since starting SLA in the fall of 2018.
