A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

Horrible experience! Dr Brian was very rough and left a big cut on the roof of my mouth. On top of that he was very unfriendly and seemed irritated. Made a mistake coming here just glad I left with everything intact!

My family and I have been going to Dr Kawai for the past 20 years. He and his staff are exceptional professionals, practice COVID precautions, are friendly and competent. He takes the time to listen to you and meet your needs. All the friends I have referred to him give me glowing feedback about his office. Well worth a visit if you are in need of a dentist.

Dr. Kawai has been my dentist my whole life and his office feels like family. I’ve always had a wonderful experience when I come in even when I have to get numb (which is the most unpleasant since I HATE needles) Dr. Kawai is always really good at making it not hurt.

I think he treated me rudely based on my clothes. He kept pushing my teeth pretty roughly. Bad experience just wanna forget about it. I wanted this to be a smooth situation, but its didn't get handled the right way! That is very rude!
